Okay, okay!! I watched last night's episode, actually DVR's it so I could watch my regular shows, and just finished watching it a few minutes ago.
Maybe it is my age, I will admit to that. But I don't remember ever going to school and having a full orchestra around me so I could enjoy the music. When was the last time you turned on a boom-box and got that kind of sound. I get it, that they are trying to make each episode like a 'Hollywood musical', but I really think that they need to develop the story and characters a whole lot more.
Stand out for me was "Billionaire" - if that was actually him singing. Just think they spend too much time trying to be the next "Grease" instead of westablishing who they are.
Probably won't watch regularly, but will definitely watch the "Rocky Horror" tribute later in the season when Barry Bostwick is the special guest.
Show is definitely not made for adults to enjoy, and some of the humor is way off base for the age group it is trying to reach. But if this is your cup of tea, then I salute you for watching and liking it.
I will try not to be to vocal about my not loving it this season.

I think you mean ballad. Unless Rachel did something Sam didn't.

Thanks for pointing that out for me. I promise I do know how to spell that word. The type was fun though

Well, it looks like they've added another Extended Play to their list. It's called
Glee: The Music, The Rocky Horror Glee Show, with the following seven songs that they'll be singing:
1.
Science Fiction Double Feature
2.
Damn It, Janet
3.
Whatever Happened To Saturday Night?
4.
Sweet Transvestite
5.
Touch-A Touch-A Touch-A Touch Me
6.
There's A Light (Over At The Frankenstein Place)
7.
Time Warp

I've only ever seen
The Rocky Horror Picture Show once and I was totally creeped out by it, but I do like a few of the songs (mostly
Touch-a). Though it's not confirmed, Jayma/Emma is almost guaranteed to sing
Touch-a and I've read that Cory/Finn and Lea/Rachel will be singing
Dammit, Janet. John Stamos is supposed to sing two songs, but what two I have no clue. I'm thinking
The Time Warp will be a New Directions song, but I'm not for certain. Thoughts?

I definitely need to watch "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" before the Glee episode.

Agreed.
iTunes really got the songs from last nights episode on fast. I checked this morning to see if I could buy one of the songs, and they were all there.

The songs are usually on their by 11:00 Monday nights (or at least they were on the back 9 last season). I usually got up early on Tuesday morning, before school (which I got up at 5:30 normally) to get the songs for that night. I am kind of bummed that only four songs from next week's episode are being released (
Toxic,
Stronger,
Me Against the Music and
The Only Exception). You would think her most famous/popular song would at least be released (
Hit Me Baby One More Time), but it isn't. Hopefully they release the other songs. I'm not the biggest Britney fan, but I did grow up with her, so there is some nostalgia.

It was so funny when Sue came to the bathroom and said "SHUT UP" to the 2 girls.

This guy, better known as the star of the "Very Potter" Musicals, is guest-starring on Glee.
Come on Ryan Murphy, I want some Disney...
Also, I believe that tonight Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, and Lea Michele are guest-starring on the season premiere of
The Simpsons.

Wow! I had no idea they were that fast. I'm going to have to do that from now on!

Really? Where did you hear about this? His
Part of Your World was surprisingly good. I think I might stick with Jodi, but his version wasn't half bad. And, yes, we need some Disney.

Gah, I missed it. I guess I'll just have to watch it on Hulu tomorrow.

Saw it on IMDb boards, but here's the link where this was officially confirmed, HUGE SPOILER WARNING, though-

You didn't miss much. It was pretty bad.
As a side-note, I've also heard Kurt is performing "
Le Jazz Hot" (can't wait!) on Glee this season.

I hope you all caught the Season Premier of The Simpsons tonight!! It featured members of the cast of "Glee" and it was really funny to see all the drawings of the members of the cast. Good show. Now if "Glee" was just a good.

Hm, that's interesting. I don't really like his voice, but at least a Julie song is going to be on the show (so that's really exciting!)

Yeah, now if she'd just make an appearance on the show herself. lol

Did no one watch
The Simpsons last night or was I the only one who enjoyed the "Glee" premiere. If only 'Glee" was this good all the time.

I already posted that I watched The Simpsons (and I didn't like it. I liked last season well enough, though, so hopefully this season retains some of the same quality). And if you look a page back, you will see plenty of reviews about the season premiere.

I had been watching clips of songs from
Glee on YouTube a couple nights ago, and I just now watched a whole episode for the first time. I loved it. I can see why the show is so popular! They did an amazing job with all the Britney songs!!! And the music teacher is hot...

For some reason I felt underwhelmed with this episode. It seemed kind of lackluster. I guess it was good and all, and the songs were done wonderfully, but it just felt a little iffy. Heather Morris was wonderful tonight, as were the rest of them, but I'm still feeling a tad disappointed. This is really strange. I'm looking forward to next week's episode though (well, most of it at least).
