I always like to peek through the kids' books to see their special renditions of everything. I like different art (which... is annoying considering lots of merchandise today uses the same pictures over and over and over).
Yeah, they should make some new artwork, like in the cover,i think they should make a prequle book insted of telling the first moments of the film.

I still think Narissa's animation and design are very similar to that of Treasure Planet's Captain Amelia. Amelia was originally intended to have black hair.

See, that is one of the many things I love about Captain Amelia. She has the look of the Stereotypical Gorgeous Villain (granted, Yzma isn't gorgeous, but I couldn't think of another word). Amelia most definitely isn't a villain, of course. She's not a gray area character either. She has a sharp wit and harsh presence, yet is completely on the side of justice. The same applies to all of my favorite Disney women, in fact.

Well, when little kids look up at me with worried expressions and ask if I'm a vampire--
I shall walk off of my soapbox.

I think that Narrisa looks like The Queen,Yzma and Amilia but Amilia is gorgeous and smiliar to Prudence :D.
Little kids won't think you're a vampire :).

(My favorite Treasure Planet couple and my favorite Cinderella couple are very similar.)

Little kids do think I'm a vampire! A nine year old boy looked up at me and said, "Are you a vampire?" "What makes you think I'm a vampire?" I asked. "Never mind, you're not as ugly as a vampire," said he. "Wait, you are as scary as a lady vampire! Why are you a lady vampire? Why? Why, why, why?" There have been other cases like this, though this was the one that made me think on the terms of ">_<" the most.

This was incredibly off topic. On topic, I'm trying to keep myself fairly spoiler free of Enchanted. Is Narissa another form of the witch who threw Giselle into New York City?

LOL,they are very smiliar :o.
That child need some cure.
The witch that threw Giselle is Narrise in disguise.
I really love Giselle even that the movie wasn't released yet,do you think that the fact she looks incredibly like Ariel has any conection? :o.

Can't wait for pictures :D.
here's an Enchanted review:
http://movies.msn.com/movies/hitlist/10 ... 3?gt1=7701
One of the thing i didn't liked:
In one particular scene, Giselle experiences anger for the first time
.
Sounds like Andalasia is a perfactly perfact world with no things like anger or sadness, but that's not what Disney movies are abuot, there's allways anger and sadness, they think that Snow White isn't angry or sad? of course she is,i think they gone too far, there is sadness or anger.

it might be a kind of ballistic anger giselle experiences for the first time. you might see belle or ariel or snow white get angry on occasion but never to the point of violent threats and movements.
maybe? haha. that's sort of a guesstimate.

Oh,so maybe she sees a thife with a gun so when he's really angry he want to kill somone or something like this? so it is okay, she might be angry sometimes but like you said-never seen anger that leads to violent.
Thanks for the pictures poody :D they're great :D only this one bothers me:

Two new posters for Enchanted!
They are from Germany but I really liked them.
The german title is: Verwunscht (with 2 dots on the U.)

http://bp0.blogger.com/_VBhCWRP4MM8/Rw8 ... iselle.jpg
(When I translated the line it said: Welcome in our world, Fairytaleprincess.)

http://bp1.blogger.com/_VBhCWRP4MM8/Rw8 ... randon.jpg
(When I translated it the line saidsomething like: This mother-in-law does not become wicked. She already is.)

Disney's Enchanted

Actually, once again I agree with Ariel'sprince! The Disney princesses do experience anger, even come to violence! Cinderella gets mad at Lucifer when he makes her floor she just washed dirty again, so she picks up a broom to hit him with! Ariel gets angry repeatedly, so does Belle, and so does Jasmine.

This whole movie could be damaging to the Disney princesses, They've been stereotyped for years as cloyingly sweet with no emotions other than happiness and sadness. But a person would realize they are deeper than that if they thought of it as they watched their films. Disney shouldn't perpetuate it's own stereotypes! This film could possibly nail them when people accuse the princesses of not being real enough.

Oh,then yes :D i agree :D.
You're right, now that you reminded me-there's a Disney Princess video game for GBA that Cinderella attack Lucifer, and also Pocahontas and Mulan were also angry (in the sence that Thomas killed Kokoham i think that Pocahontas whould have kill him if John Smith didn't stoped her).
Agreed,Disney shouldn't show those streotyps about the Disney Princesses,if people will see the films they will learn that they were worng.
