*Ahem* "Walk this Way" was originally written and recorded by Aerosmith in 1975. In 1986, Aerosmith re-recorded it
with Run D.M.C.

I know that. What's your point. I have been a fan of both bands for many years, "I have been alive for 38 years" and I did not want to use the Aerosmith version so I said Run DMC, There have been 100's of songs that have been redone by other bands over the years. Van Halen did a cover on Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman, Motley Crue did a cover on the Beatle's Helter Skelter and also did a cover on Smoking in the Boys room.
By the way I have seen Aerosmith 3 times in concert and I saw RUN-DMC once plus I have met them

Question: Is there actually a way to win this game? If you came up with a title no one could follow would that constitute a win?

I'm just saying, since it was a collaboration with Aerosmith, they should be included, especially when it was their song to begin with. (For the record, I actually prefer the Aero/DMC version, so it's not like I'm trashing them).
Anyways, to solve this next one, I can go with one of two songs by Randy Newman. I will choose:
