First: Yeah, that song was SUCH a let down. At least, the video will be awesome! Maybe, they show you the making visually?

Second: Well, looks like Dreamworks ran out of ideas. Come on, ANOTHER Shrek all this time? They really beat the dead horse here.

That is delightfully insane.

I love how we're a minute or two into that thing and we've learned nothing about how Frozen was made.

Brilliant. rotfl

WTF? I'll admit I dont usually watch bonuses on dvd discs due to time issues, but is this what the Disney "making of's" are like now? Did the Lopezes have anything to do with this? WTFFFFF???? :|

as for DW, they're desperate. They just has 2 films that bombed recently & have been scratched off as franchises(Turbo, ROTG), cancelled one for being too risky(Me & My Shadow,) KFP is winding down & all they really have is Dragon(& maybe Croods.) Who knows what will happen with Peabody.

Yeaaaaaaaaaah, this was a huge letdown and didn't explain anything. :| At least, the huge joke at the ending pulled it off. But, still really fun though.

 I don't know what's funnier, the music video, or the people who are actually mad or disappointed that nothing was explained.

 A+ on the trolling humor, Disney.

"Some films you never learn how they're made...and that is a shame..." rotfl

Personally, I love how this is just blatantly screwing with people. I prefer a joke music video way more than something like what we got on the Tangled bonus features, which really didn't explain anything either, but was still meant to be educational. Besides, according to the Blu-Ray features there's still another, seperate feature called "Breaking the Ice – The Real Making of Frozen" that will probably go into more detail on the movie's development anyhow.

I'm I the only one who thinks that was more stupid than funny? Like a bad joke going on for way too long.

I definitely think that that was more stupid than funny..
But interesting thing is that by the middle of it, I completely ignored the song and just focus on all the people and work place...
The song might have been bad but I really enjoyed seeing the tour. BTW, was that Idina Menzel sitting at the round table?

I was kind of expecting some fun and witty stuff, but eh....

I'm just wondering if the 3D version in the Fall will have more in depth features.

Also, Peabody and Sherman will do really good at the box office. The last time a big animated movie came out was in November, which was Frozen. So it'll be refreshing for families.

I am quite confident that Frozen will win the Oscar for best song as well as for best animated feature. Take a look at this article from Billboard where they discuss all the nominated songs and their chances:

Oscar's Best Song Battle: Pharrell, U2, Karen O & 'Frozen' Fight for Academy Awards Gold
http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/ ... emy-awards

"Kristen Anderson-Lopez and husband Robert Lopez, 38, were the center of attention thanks to a slew of stories about viewing "Frozen" in groups of extended families and friends, not to mention multiple viewings by their children. To be sure, getting youngsters to convince parents and grandparents to vote for “Let It Go” is the sort of campaign no one can manufacture."

"Box-office success and album sales fed each other through Christmas, with the soundtrack gaining week-to-week and spending four nonconsecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart. Its sales tally so far: 1.05 million, with 100,000 albums sold for the week ending Feb. 16. Of course, there’s no better way to assure a zeitgeist moment than through the collective resolve of millions of faithful "Frozen" fans."

I didn't even care about that because they've done it before with the music video of "Something That I Want". The novelty of a tour/music video has worn off.

Yes, but that one is just six minutes long. :( This is the full gamut of the bonus features:

* Mickey Mouse Short: "Get a Horse!" (5:43)
* The Making of Frozen (3:08)
* D'frosted: Disney's Journey From Hans Christian Andersen to Frozen (7:09)
* Breaking The Ice: The Real Making of Frozen (6:10)
* Deleted Scenes: Never Underestimate the Power of Elsa (1:22), The Dressing Room (2:35), Meet Kristoff #1 (1:12), Meet Kristoff #2 (1:16) (6:25 total, 4 scenes)
--Music Videos: "Let It Go (English)" - Demi Lovato (3:40), "Libre Soy (Spanish)" - Martina Stoessel (3:38), "All'alba Sorgero (Italian)" - Martina Stoessel (3:38), "Let It Go (Malaysian)" - Marsha Milan (3:49) (14:45 total, 4 videos)
* Teaser Trailer (1:24)

I enjoyed the musical making-of, fluffy as it was. Never knew "animators" at The Hat were so photogenic. ;) The brevity of the piece made me expect nothing substantial, but it was a joy to watch. Matching sweater vests, Bell scatting, an anti-climactic end.

I'd have probably enjoyed it more if it had served as the opening act to an ambitious, forty-minute musical documentary in which Gad/Groff/Bell would sing the interstitials in between the traditional, talking-head interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. That would have been quite interesting to watch, and a better gimmick than Disney Intermission. I mean, if Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog can have both a traditional audio commentary and a "Commentary: The Musical!", surely Disney could have done the same by having a teaser musical making-of, then actually produce a full-fledged one.

As taei said, I'm hoping the 3D release in the Fall will add on substantial bonus features rather than just serve as a repeat of the existing discs plus the 3-D version.

you never know though....
They could suddenly decide to just release a bare bones 3D version and keep all the bonus features for a diamond edition or something like that. I can definitely see this movie being added to the diamond line, especially if crosses 1 Billion, which it most likely will.

True, but not even "Diamond Edition" means anything anymore. I wouldn't expect any future release down the line to improve upon that, especially since any effort put into bonus features for the Diamond line has been dwindling since 2012. Most of the recent ones have simply been a repeat of the DVD (minus art galleries, games, and some featurettes) with only a few new items added. Had this been the early years of Disney Blu-Ray, when we saw stellar sets like Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, and Dumbo, I'd be excited. But the most one can expect on a "Diamond" these days is a condensation of everything into one disc, different media approaches for the same film, less than 40 minutes of newly-prepared material, and sideways titles on disappointing covers.

True. It's really sad when you think about it. But why should disney care? They don't have money to spend on insightful and amazing features. No...They do however have money to spend on a useless musical number with repeated lyrics.

The Making of The Making of Frozen (that's a mouthful) is now on the Disney Movies Anywhere app. Nothing really noteworthy, but still nice to see behind-the-scenes.
