There are rumors that this is an official image, that means, that's the official logo. Does anyone know anything?[/img]

Hmmm... I actually kind of like the logo. Definitely not what I was expecting, but I think it's at least very distinct and bold.

That image was posted by me. I found it web surfing for Frozen images last April! I've haven't seen it anywhere on the web since.

Yup, Josh Gad from Book of Mormon is going to voice Olaf! :D :D :D :D

But this is far from the only gig that Gad has been working as or late. He's serving as an executive producer on the upcoming television series 1600 Penn, he's starring with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn in the Shawn Levy comedy The Internship; he's playing Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic; and he's doing voice over work for both Walt Disney Animation's Frozen and DreamWorks Animation's Me and My Shadow. Suffice it to say that he's doing quite well for himself.

Why do you think he's voicing Olaf? Did you mean Kristoff?

No, the Josh Gad AS Olaf rumours have been around for some time, since it appeared on the casting list on IMDB. It's Jonathan Groff who is rumored to voice Kristoff.

Not that I know anything about either of them.

Right. I must have confused the two names as they share the same initials.

I wouldn't take that info for granted. For all we know, they know as much as we do and are referring solely to IMDB.

Today is November 27, 2012. Frozen will be released in exactly 1 year from now. With SO little we know about this film, it's going to be an interesting 12 months prior to this film's release. Lets hope we don't have to wait months on in for new info about this film.

Disney is putting the co-screenwriter of Wreck-It Ralph on ice. But … that’s apparently a good thing.

Jennifer Lee, who helped write the studio’s blockbuster video game adventure, has been hired to co-direct Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming fantasy comedy Frozen, which is already in production and set to open Nov. 27 of next year. It features the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel as sisters battling in a mystical winter wonderland.

Lee will join Chris Buck, the project’s current director, whose past credits include Disney’s Tarzan and Fox’s penguin comedy Surf’s Up.

It’s fairly common for animated films to have two directors (Buck did those previous two projects with a filmmaking partner), though sometimes it happens when one director is relieved of duties — as with Pixar’s Brave, in which Mark Andrews was brought on to finish the job started by Brenda Chapman.

OMG a woman?!?! Lasseter, you devil! He had us all fooled with the Brenda Chapman-controversy.

Okay, in all seriousness. She must be a great writer. That is one amazing opportunity for anyone. And Jennifer has no other credits than Wreck-It Ralph on IMDB.

It's no secret that the entire production is under a lot of pressure. Even more so than Tangled. I wonder if that's the reason a co-director was brought on?

This change probably means that there are still story problems. I doubt though if there will be any major plot or character changes.

Yeah, definitely an improvement over that other one.

Regarding the new co-director, I assume this means they need some help on the production. Hopefully nothing too troubling. And while it's great that she's a woman... I absolutely hate that that's the first thing everyone points out. Don Hahn had a great quote at CTN when he was introducing Brenda Chapman - something along the lines of "there's been quite a bit of press regarding Brenda as Pixar's first female director... and while that's great, all I see whenever I work with Brenda is that she's a great director, who happens to be female."

To be fair, I was being sarcastic. :)

Oh and that pretty much confirms that the marketing will make this look like Tangled 2.0

Same style.

Here we go!! =)
Looks like Tangled 2.0 indeed, but... it worked so well so... it's OK to me =)
I hope we'll get some new concept art soon =)
Oh! and THANKS Sotiris!! =D

We didn't need to see anything to know that this is Tangled 2.0. That might be why the story has been so altered, considering the last we heard of it before it was revived (because of Tangled) was that they were having trouble making the tale work. They probably threw story to the wind and decided to make up anything as long as it had a cold setting, just to get it out as soon as possible.

Really cool! A little too similar to Tangled's with the font, but still awesome!

Oh I know! - I actually didn't say that in response to you, but more in response to the article and a post I read on it on another site.

Lovely to see that there is something lovely and official out there now !

Nice logo, very much like Tangled's as you have all said.

Does anyone know how far in advance we got the 'secrets will be revealed' Tangled teaser ? That may give some evidence for when we will see something from Frozen. If I remember correctly, the Tangled trailer showed no title card AT ALL for their teaser, as it was still being decided.

So I don't think we should worry about this movie just yet, and the lack of information ... look how magical Tangled turned out to be ! :)
