Okay I will step into this. I don't know what I am supposed to see that is wrong with Jasmine, other than her image so much larger than Sofia. She looks the same as she did in "Aladdin", and I still think she is beautiful.
Love riding to pre-K every weekday morning and listening to my five-year-old grand daughter sing along with the "Sofia the First Soundtrack" CD playing in the car. It makes my mornings and afternoons.

I didn't excuse bad 2D animation. I simply compared the two. Between bad 2D and bad CG animation, 2D is the lesser of two evils.
HAHA We all know you're bias. It's pretty obvious whenever we read your posts concerning these types of topics.
You over-blow the whole thing, a kid's show, over it's medium as if you were expecting it to be DAC level caliber. That's how the way your posts comes out as. To even think such is delusional. For what it does have is fine and is no different than any other kids show.
What makes this show interesting and good is the content and how the characters perform and interact.
Sofia the First does have some small careless errors or inconsistencies (i've spotted some myself) as well as some bland animation movements, but to the level you're blowing it out to be? Don't make me fucking laugh.
Pap64 was right.

The 3D graphics of her are awful that's all, and it doesn't look like she was made in 2013 with today's technology. It looks poorly rushed and I doubt that she's going to be around for long, like have less screen time than Cinderella did. Like not even a song, just " Hi I'm Jasmine, this can help you out " ! " Bye " !

The original article says it’s a “first look”. (Even Sofia looks better in the TV show than in that clip art…)
According to The Hollywood Reporter Jasmine will sing a song with her original singing voice
Lea Salonga, and will speak in her original speaking voice,
Linda Larkin.
If Jasmine sings, she will have at least the same screen time as Cinderella, since she only sings a song and says a few words…

Please, judge after seeing the actual episode...

I think Jasmine looks a lot like her Kingdom Hearts counterpart here ?? And it probably would have made sense to have the Jasmine episode around the time of the Blu release of Aladdin.

I am over 30, male, with no kids, and much to my surprise, I really enjoy watching this show. Granted, not at the same level as DAC or even the Disney Afternoon shows like DuckTales or TaleSpin, but still, enjoyable to watch.

Which was fitting for a playstation 2 game rendered in real time; Not for a completely CGI tv show in 2013.
Something really just looks off about her.

I think it's her eyes, face and head. Her body looks fine.

Interesting if they were to go there and have her as Snow...but I don't think they would. Either she will be a completely different character or Mary Margaret.

Can't they put episodes in chronological/order of airdate when releasing these dvds?

Aloha! I'm new to the forum in general. My name is Lauren. I've been reading all of the replies to Two to Tangu and I wanted to give my opinion. I come to this subject from a unique place. I'm visually impaired. Also, I've already seen Two to Tangu and I love it! But don't worry, I won't spoil anyone. I used to have nearly normal vision when I was younger. So I have the images of Jasmine, Ariel,, Belle and so on engraved in my memory. This means when I rewatch the episode tomorrow, I can just enjoy it and see Jasmine the way I remember her from the movies and Aladdin's TV series. I can see her with my heart. I encourage all of you to do the same tomorrow. Try not to concentrate so much on how the animator's messed up in your eyes, but try to see Jas with your heart. I garauntee, you'll enjoy the episode a lot more! I did! Also, my favorite chars from Sofia are Sofia, Amber, James, Clover, Crackel, vivian and Baileywick! I hope to make a lot of friends here!

Wait... how are you able to see this? I hasn't come out on broadcast till tomorrow morning. Also since Jasmine in it, is it an hour special like the Once Upon a Princess or just usual 25min episode?

It's a regular length 22 minute episode. It has been available for several days now on Disney Junior On Demand on Xfinity Comcast Cable.
