Disney Duster wrote: Wait a minute, is Song of the South black and white or color? Because you have two black and white images on the back of the cover!
It's in color, the stills are likely publicity stills, though I've seen the second one (Uncle Remus with the children) in color.

Escapay, I just wanted to THANK YOU A BUNCH, because the phone number of the GameStop that had 101D worked, and the transfer worked successfully! Thank you! You can read what happened in my "A Bit of a Dilemma" thread! Thanks again!

What characters in Fantasia should be on the DVD cover? Besides Mickey? I can't do Chernobog because I'm not using that kind of cover.

Never mind that last post, because now my next DVD is up and ready: Fantasia!! With six discs!!

What do you think? I had some difficulty deciding what characters to use; all I knew was that Mickey Mouse definitely had to be there. 8)

I got bored, and so I decided to create another cover, so here is my attempt at Pinocchio: Platinum Edition!

It's quite crowded, but there are a lot of characters in this movie, so I thought it would be best to use as many as possible. The 'Pinocchio' text isn't that clear as it's an original font, either from a theatrical poster or from the title screencap. The Banners are from The Lion King DVD, however it would still be great for Pinocchio to include an all new song!

I hope you like it! :)

Thankyou very much, I'm glad you like it! Finding the characters was easy, it's just the blending that takes a while, and the background is actually from the introduction scene of The Hunchback of Notre Dame!! I don't have the Pinocchio DVD so I couldn't take screencaps of Pinocchio's town, but Italy/France, France/Italy, I was hoping that no-one would notice :P

I did notice and it looks quite good. Just remove Notre Dame from the background (it can be clearly seen) and replace it with maybe a snow-capped mountain or something and it will look even better.

BTW, what did you think of my Fantasia DVD?

I like them, all your covers are really, really great!...however, it might just be me, but aren't some of them theatrical posters? (Pinocchio, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Cars) It doesn't matter, they still look amazing! But I feel as if I've seen most of these pictures somewhere before, just without the Platinum Edition banner ontop.
Big Disney Fan wrote:I did notice and it looks quite good. Just remove Notre Dame from the background (it can be clearly seen) and replace it with maybe a snow-capped mountain or something and it will look even better.
The background can't be seen THAT clearly can it? :( And why a snow cap mountain, they don't even go to the snow in Pinocchio. :?
Btw, I like your Fantasia cover, Mickey doesn't really look like himself, but I still like it.

In case the Platinum never gets released (It will though :D ) I thought it should at least get the 2-Disc treatment, so here is an incredibly rushed cover of Pinocchio: Collector's Edition. I suppose it could also be the Collector's Gift Set to the Platinum, but it sorta follows the Tarzan and TENG Collector's Edition style of Cover Art, as opposed to the Cinderella/Aladdin Gift sets' covers.

I like your Platinum DVD of Pinocchio better than the Collector DVD. As for the mountains, maybe they don't go to the snow. But during some long pans of the skyline, such as in the beginning of the movie and when the schoolbell rings the next morning, there are mountains depicted in the background.

Apparently my page-2 Hunchback cover was considered too lazy to make the list ;) So here's another one.

(The text is latin gibberish, since I had no idea what to write..)

Very nice work on the Hunchback cover art. The only think I would suggest is that Quasimodo be pictured on my spine rather than Esmerelda, since he is the star. But, that is just my opinion. Nice cover though, really!

oops  I must've missed it, sorry, It'll be on the updated list though  Your THoND new cover is incredible! The 'Giberish' looks latin or something, which corresponds with the Adult poster and the fact that priests in Quasi's day spoke latin in the churches. Excellent job, I'd believe that to be an actual cover! :thumb:

Sorry for the triple post, but I need to make the top of the page for the updated list, again, sorry! I have to go to school! :(
