Not much this week, but I've been on a wild-ass virtual spending spree online.
Withnail and I 20th Anniversary Edition R2 PAL
2 discs plus a 3rd disc of the soundtrack on CD (but this only runs to about 15 mins, as its the film's score only) but most importantly an anamorphic transfer at last (all previous releases, even the Criterion were letterbox) and more content from director/writer Bruce Robinson, including a commentary track.
The Worst Week of my Life S1&2 Boxset R2 PAL
Well, it is what is says. Both of the sit-com's series in a boxset. It's still only 2 discs though, because each series is 7 episodes (A week, you see!)
Thank You For Smoking R1 NTSC
Something I am looking forward to seeing.

It's update time!
Red Dwarf Series V R2 UK
*groans*
Red Dwarf Series VI R2 UK
*groans more*
Red Dwarf Series VII R2 UK
Nothing could induce more groaning than this!
Red Dwarf VIII R2 UK
Thank God for Series 8! After 3 years of blech, something watchable!
Eddie Izzard - Glorious R2 UK
Probably his 2nd best show, but still not in the same league as
Definite Article
Eddie Izzard - Unrepeatble R2 UK
His first show from way back, and boy does it show!
BlackAdder - Series 2 R2 UK
Who would've thought after Series 1 that S2 would even get commissioned! Much better!
You Rang M'Lord? - Series 4 R2 UK
Well it didn't end in the way I thought it would, but it was fitting nonetheless. Great set of episodes!
Kath and Kim - series 1 R2 UK
Little Baby Cheeses!
The Golden Girls R2 UK
I know a couple of people who'll be happy about this one! And good news, after my fairly lacklustre reception of the first 2 seasons, I really enjoyed Season 3!

Yay, Ichabod! I knew that you would enjoy Season 3. Now, onto Season 4, which I feel is even better!

I went shopping this morning, and saw
Monty Python and the Holy Grail Extrodinary Deluxe Edition for £11.99. So I figured I would take a punt, even though I have the old 2 disc edition (somewhere... it may be lent out) just for (what I thought was) the Spamalot CD.
However the CD soundtrack is the soundtrack to the movie... sort of. It has lots of new Skits, asides and sketches over the top, and most of the film with more visual humour is edited out. Its like having a all new 50min addition to the film, and well worth the money!
