The Best of Most Haunted Live! Vol 4 [R2] 4 disc Set
Another compilation of the best moments from five three-night live "investigations". Each compilation runs for about 90 minutes, plus all five
Most Haunted Live! Access All Areas programmes are included. The final event in the set is Derek's last ever apperance on
Most Haunted (did he jump or was he pushed?)
I've only seen the first two out of the five events, but I'm already getting emotional at the thought of Derek leaving. And remember, when Derek goes, so does Sam!

Just Friends [R2]
It was cheap(ish) and I do sort of like Ryan Reynolds. Sort of.
Waiting... was a disappointment. But this was cheap(ish) so... well, you know the story. The old Look-Buy instinct.

Supernatural S1 Pt 1 [R2]
Normally I would refuse to buy this on principle, knowing that R1 is getting a full-season release. However, I managed to grab this for £15.99 so getting two sets won't cost (much) more than one single set. However like almost all Warner sets released over here before our transatlantic pals, this set is totally barebones.

Walk The Line [R2] 2 Disc Set
I don't really have much to say on this, you all know the details. Blah Blah, bio-pic. Yadda Yadda, controvercy. Blah Blah, Oscar® Winner.

Aeon Flux [R2]
Yes, I know it should have a fancy joined Ae at the front. But I can't be bothered to get charmap out. Another "Special Collectors Edition" from Paramount which seems underwhelming compared to most Special or Collectors Editions from other studios. I know this got a bit of a critical beating, but I'm actually looking forward to it.

Knight Rider S3 [R2] 6 Disc Set
Yes, it's finally out in Pal-Land. I waited for this in R2 because it comes on 6 discs rather than the DVD18s Universal uses for the R1 releases. There's a slight problem with one of my S2 R1 discs (but thankfully, it still plays). As an added bonus, R2 usually gets more of the original soundtrack music on their Universal releases. I have no idea if this Knight Rider release has more original music than the R1 release does though. I've already seen the feature-length opening "Knight of the Drones" and sat there with a big cheesy 80s smile on my face.

Hi-De-Hi S1&2 and Hi-De-Hi S3&4 [R2] 2x 3 Disc Sets
Ichabod should approve of these purchases. Once again purchased on a whim because of their low prices (£5.99 each). Hi-De-Hi stars the much underrated Dame Su of Pollard. The campaign to get more Su Pollard on TV begins here, and begins now!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show/Shock Treatment 30th Anniversary Boxset [R2] 3 Discs
Well, the only way to get
Shock Treatment is to rebuy
The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Nice one Fox.

The printed cover for
Shock Treatment even has no barcode but the words "Not to be Sold Seperately" in its place.
Oh well,
The Rocky Horror Picture Show discs are the same as the 25th Anniversary release. Nothing at all is new or different.
Shock Treatment comes on the 3rd disc, in its own Aramey case, the two cases held together by a cardboard slipcase. There are no extras for
Shock Treatment - the promised theatrical trailer isn't even listed on the box, but I haven't given the disc a spin yet to confirm.
I'm sort of in awe at seeing this, knowing nothing can match years of "antici... pation".

High School Musical at Best Buy for $20 (DVD + Soundtrack)

Well, well, well. Got myself a BUNDLE of review discs today, although many of them are older discs so only the most recent will probably get reviewed.
Follwing Netty's formatting, in this massive bag o' DVDs you'll find:
Arrested Development - Season 2: I've not actually see a lot from this season, so I'll look forward to watching what was once the best US comedy around.
Wikipedia:
Arrested Development
Absolutely Fabulous - Absolutely Everything: A big, purple box containing Series 1 to 5 and the two specials (Gay and White Box). To be honest, I was never a HUGE fan of this show, although watched in the right mood - i.e. inebriated - it is usually a lot of fun. I do enjoy seeing this particular social strata being mocked, though. And hey - it was FREE!
Wikipedia:
Absolutely Fabulous
American Dad - Season 1: This one comes highly recommended, and I've been keen to get into it. Although I'm not a 'Family Guy' guy, I have enjoyed it on the few occasions I've watched and will probably get the DVDs eventually. The anti neo-con humour seems to appeal to me as well.
Wikipedia:
American Dad
Law & Order: Criminal Intent - Season 2: There is something addictive about L & O that I always come back to. I prefer the original L&O series, but you gotta love Goran. Can't wait for L&O: Fashion Victims Unit.
Wikipedia:
L & O: CI
Dallas - Season 3: I've bought and sold my box sets of Dallas, but I keep getting the review discs. I'm crazy like a fool! This season starts the 'Who Shot JR?' saga.
Wikipedia:
Dallas
A brace of musicals:
-
Oklahoma (2 Disc)
-
State Fair (2 Disc)
-
South Pacific (2 Disc)
-
Carousel (2 Disc)
It's (Rogers and) Hammer(stein) time! I suppose I could have requested the lot, but I just can't bring myself to have a copy of 'The Sound of Music' in the house.
Wikipedia:
Rogers and Hammerstein
Me & You and Everyone We Know: One of my favourite films of last year is now a free DVD in my possession!
IMDB:
Me and You and Everyone We Know
Other Movies:
-
Appaloosa
-
McQ
Other things:
-
What's New Scooby Doo Volumes 2, 3 and 5
-
Trollz - Volumes 1 & 2 (who knows why?)
-
Aloha Scooby Doo
There is sure to be more buried in this bag, but that's all I can recall for now!

I bought a previously-viewed Zathura dvd from my local video rental store for $7.95. It's in great shape. The store didn't put any stickers on the disc and the insert is still there, so it's basically the same as a brand new dvd to me. It may have not even been viewed. There were so many other Zathura dvds for sale there. It's a shame that no one seems to want to watch it.

What Best Buy Reward Zone event? I am a Reward Zone member and heard nothing about it- no e-mail, nothing in the store ad, anything. How did you know about it?
I am one of few that have had nothing but problems with this stupid program. It's been 2 and a half months and still haven't gotten my reward certificates. They give me the run around every time I call. I wouldn't be so anxious except that I should be getting $60 in certificates. i don't ever know about anything that BB is doing for reward zone members, and they do have my e-mail and I do check the reward zone site periodically. I definitely give 2 thumbs down to this program. It was not worth the $10.
Anyway, I'm a little behind because I've been finishing school and cleaning up my classroom, but I bought:
Napoleon Dynamite- Like the Best Edition Ever with free "dance Like You Mean It" t-shirt. I wore it at our talent show the last day of school because a bunch of the other teachers and I did the dance from the movie. The kids loved it!

I got a flyer that said that Best Buy is having a Reward Zone Even in California in four local Best Buy so I went to the closes in West Covina.
If you told Best Buy you want your Gift Certificates e-mailed to you tell them to change it to old snail mail.
I know how you feel because it happen to me I change it to e-mail then back to regular mail since DVDjunkie told me their e-mail sucks.
