Deal, that's why I denoted those two with asterisks. However, I will always argue that "If I Never Knew You" was intended to be in the original release.

This is why I wanted to leave it open to personal judgement, because people have different ideas of what a song is. By definition, however, they're separate songs, songs being musical pieces for voice(s), and in this case with lyrics. Yes, they do share a melodic line, but "Belle" is structurally complete and independent, both musically and lyrically. Let's forget the fact that the reprise is separated by nearly 12 minutes of non-musical scenes, and focus on the fact that stylistically it's much more grandiose than "Belle" and serves a completely different purpose in the film. One might argue that musically the reprise doesn't actually have an end, instead leaving the melody unresolved, but "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" comes awfully close to being guilty of the same. The lack of a cadence doesn't mean it's not complete.

Hunchback has the most music if you go by length of time (about 28 minutes worth). Beauty and the Beast is second with about 24 minutes and Frozen is slightly behind that.

I have to share this awesome cover of "Let It Go" done by Alex Boyé and the One Voice Children's Choir. It's absolutely incredible!!

Wow, had not idea Mermaid had sold more than Beauty !! I know it was out a few years earlier, but that is truly a lot more. I wonder why it sold more? Not that I don't agree with it, but just am a little shocked as Beauty is always touted as being the THE of Disney musicals (but I think that title has now been snatched by Frozen).

Hey everyone,
I know it has been said... but "belle reprise" happens way later in the film, so it is definitely a separate song from "belle".
As for Frozen... it doesn't have that much music, but it feels like it because of the songs' placement in the movie. Most major songs in Frozen happen within the first 30 minutes. Which only leaves FTFTIF reprise, "in summer" (which I consider to be a very minor song) and Fixer Upper to be scattered over the remaining 80 mins of film (Frozen is close to 1h50mins... one of the longest DAC films... )

Nice attempt, but the music was so awkward and it didnt explain anything about the plot.
Yeah, that was my reaction, too. An actual VHS preview of Frozen would have had a Mark Elliot narration and "Let It Go" or "For the First Time in Forever" would have been played, rather than "I Wanna Know What Love Is." Remember, this was a time when they wanted people to know their animated films were musicals.
The "First Time in Forever" trailer is actually closer to how a 90s trailer of Frozen would have been like, rather than this. Though I appreciate the thought and effort the user put into this trailer.

Kyle wrote:Any one know how this movie stacks up as far as how many songs are in it? I feel like it has a record but I'm probably wrong. What disney movies have more songs (as in ones with lyrics)?
Alice in Wonderland has that record.

I'm a little late, but I think that picture was from the rehearsals of "Frozen: Live"?
So they obviously had to have used Rapunzel's "rigging" (?) as Anna's...I mean, the timing on those 2 GIFs...those are the only 2 from that website that has the exact timing, so maybe not...but they're so similar in these GIFs...? (Am I even making sense?

)

I think it's just coincidence. There are only so many speeds at which a person can open one's eyelids normally...

Sharing the same rig doesn't have anything to do with timing. The rig is how it distorts from one pose to another, the animation itself is the timing. The timing of those two are probably typical of reaction shots. Its just long enough to read and doesn't linger too long.

Plus, the timing on those two shots is not the same at all. Similar, yes. But yeah, the rig has nothing to do with that.

For the people complaining about Elsa's storm in the climax of the movie and it being too much.
It won the Visual Effects Society award for Outstanding FX and Simulation Animation in an Animated Feature Motion Picture

@DancingCrab: I love your use of the Disney Movie Rewards logo...
It says that there'll be a second Hans image coming. Kind of glad, considering how well this one turned out.
