not a total rip-off but read what I wrote back there:
1.-Bambi hits the thater as the aimated movie with most expresive eyes of its times

2.-Many japanesse drawers as Akira Kurosawa and others take them as bse to draw the big eyes of their characters

3.-those eyes evolved to the ones we all know today on anim, and us drawers seem interested about them because how expresive they are, so start to use them

4.-Puss in boots have those expresive eyes like the ones tha anime would have

is lear now? and hey, I can´t belive you don´t like Bambi because who wouldn´t love that little cutty cushy innocent fawn?

What the Heck?
Akira Kurosawa was not a "drawer". He created some of the best Live Action films ever. To name a few, The Seven Samurai, yojimbo, Hidden fortress, Rashomon, Ran, Sanjuro, etc. He was NOT an animator, he was a great LIVE ACTION director, and has created some of the most flawless movies ever made.

ok,ok, I mixed the names. But the fact is that many japanesse drawers took them as base

I think the person that Isadour meant was Osamu Tezuka. You gotta admit that Japanese names can be pretty hard to remember.

And I think all he was trying to say was that every creation we enjoy has some kind of roots elsewhere.

In fact, there's a lot of anime fans that hate Disney, but something those fans fail to realize is that anime, even today's, has roots with the likes of Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop, and yes, even Bambi.

And Puss in Boots indeed has those large, expressive eyes, possibly influenced by anime.

It all comes back to early Disney.

But all this still doesn't change the fact that I didn't enjoy Bambi.

We weren't trying to get you to like it. We were basically just talking about how audiences today don't understand the themes and the importance of movies back then.

I think Pocahontas is better than Bambi.

After seeing Pocahontas again, I don't think its bad, its quite good. Why do not a lot of people like it, thats how I don't understand

maybe because some people thought that after watching Aladdin, The Lion King, Beauty and The Beast and Little Mermaid, the next movie would breake with the standards of these movies.
When they found that the animation wasn´t so alike to the last movies, they feel bad and because it was Pocahontas the very first of this decadent circle all the "guilty" and hate fall on this movie
but is a good story--in some partys a little boring-- but it have a very important message.
"Do not judge people because of its skins or what they believe"

That was so unbelievably random, dude. Having said that, I partly agree. I think Bambi is better than Pocahontas, but I like Pocahontas more. Isidour, after what you wrote above, I think you should try to make Alan like Bambi. It'd be funny to watch.

but hey, he is free to think what he want, as I belive The Black Cauldron is the crappiest Disney movie I have ever watched on my whole life, he can disagree and say is Bambi the one he think is the worst

I don't think anyone's telling you that you need to like Bambi, but maybe that you should show appreciation and respect for it. They're not the same thing.

It seems to be just me, but I really don't like Lilo and Stitch. Stitch really... I don't know... he's not cute. He just creeps me out. I don't find it all that great of a movie. I think the whole message with 'ohana' and family is great, but I still don't care for it. Same goes for Atlantis and Dinosaur.
