It's nice to see the classics come back
Disney, DVD, and Beyond Forums

Yay! And I loved my quote as well! You were able to add so many Scapsy references: tree-killing DVD condoms, The Rocketeer AND When Harry Met Sally, Doctor Who, and the roaring lace collar!!!Wire Hanger wrote:You most certainly deserve a pink elephant.![]()
Given that you rarely saw R-rated movies, I thought it fit you quite well.Panfan wrote:Escapay, although my quote kind of disturbed me, well done! (Just kidding!)
I call him "Wire Hanger" as an homage to the excellent Mommie Dearest and its infamous line "No Wire Hangers Ever!!!"Panfan wrote:Flanger-Hanger (So what excatly is your nickname these days) that was hilarious!
But you have to fix your spelling of The Rocketeer before Escapay finds your post!!![]()
Right......intentional......(looks around)Escapay wrote:I think he did that intentionally since I'm a stickler for correct spelling! He also misspelled "anamorphic".

Panfan: Shame Jafar and Jasmine didn't go all the way in a particular scene. I would actually like Disney if they had.

Man, I forgot about this old chestnut!
Siren: Drowning puppies is fun.
Ames: Yay for Dreamworks! I love their films, Disney sucks!
Mike: The Cinderella restoration is perhaps the most beautiful thing in the world, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and if I took a time machine back to 1950, I'd see the exact same thing on cinema screens across the country. Well done, Disney and Lowry/DTS, well done!
Justin: One of my favorite things to do is to settle into a nice bath, with the CD player blasting out the soundtrack of The Little Mermaid. I like to pretend I'm Ariel and I'll sing along with all the songs, I just love them all so much!
Sprince: Marry, stupid, weird, heroine, and Israel. Ha, Escapy, Ha!!
Ceej: If Albert provides 10 more links for me to merge, I'm gonna kill him...seriously, does the guy ever give the search option a break?
Jules: For my next trick, I'll pull a drawing-that-isn't-of-a-fat-or-deranged-Disney-character out of a hat!
netty: Doctor Who is an old tiresome program that I spent way too much time being fanboyish about. Time I moved on to something of better sci-fi quality, like Star Wars.
Panfan: I like my movies the way I like my Pirate impersonations: A lot of "Rrrrr!" (okay, that last one sucked...)
Prudence: I shall be overtly melodramatic if it kills me.
BDF: So my sister is still asking me for a replacement copy of Yellow Submarine and I just told her "F*** it, go on e-bay and look for it yourself if you want it that badly, I already said I was sorry!"
Wire Hanger: There is nothing better in the world than a thought-provoking and meaningful discussion of how a film like The Lizzie McGuire Movie far exceeds anything ever done by the Walt Disney Company. It is sheer genius and is far better than stupid corny stuff like Bullwhip Griffin or The Black Hole.
Loomis: I once did an experiment to see how many pairs of pants I could put on. I got to 42 before the police stopped me...I guess I shouldn't have been trying them on in the department store!
Mickeyfan1990: (something in a thread that isn't "The Ultimate DVD" or "The Ultimate Disney DVD/BluRay")
Matt: I hate Beauty and the Beast!
Matt (LittleMerman): My god, how can anyone love Leonardo DiCRAPrio?
Laz: I've had a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio since Critters 3...

OMG!!supertalies: Everyone thinks I'm just a Princess lover, but I'm so much more...oh, so much more. I am secretly taking over the world and they have no idea...

I'm going to spend all day on here in General Discussion, hell, maybe a whole week if I have to, to discuss how amazing every aspect of this movie is, beyond just the cuteness of Figaro and Cleo. And I will check on it every day to see what people think. Okay, here goes the beginning of a very long post...
