Aaron, yes, I did buy Amy

But it didn't bring the CD with it too!

I wanted a double 5" disc thingie!!

I've looked in a couple of places for that green thing but haven't seen one yet.
oh and keeping with the new DVD thread:
Luke in another thread wrote:This can't be good for The Lion King lovers here! We're starting to get outnumbered!
Well today I succumbed to the LukeForce as I saw a giftie thingie called The Lion King waving at me. Deathie Vader the bringer of balance into the UDark side.
The Circle is now complete.
Also, like it happened once before, while I was looking for Amy in the cd section, Mickey caught the corner of my eye by the import section and i found something that i would at best describe as (Foreign Country's Version of) "American Idol sings Disney" ! Maybe there's even a dvd version with videos of those songs in that strange strange land. Need to investigate further

I got 2 new DVDs today. "A Life Less Ordinary" with Ewan McGregor and Cameron Diaz, and "Tigerland" with Colin Farrell. I've wanted to see both for a while now and it was only $12 for both. They're really good movies so I wasn't dissapointed.

Oh my... I feel so excited. This is the first time I post here.
I feel like a virgin (touched for the very first time)

So please, be gentle.
My last Dvd was Gremlins 2. I really like those movies (including the 1st one). And I always had them on my wishlist. But because they usually range between $15-$20. I think they're too expensive or if it's $15 so cheap I felt better to invest in something else. But finally Wal Mart brought it for $9 ; Halloween DVD's, so I couldn't skip it this time.
Right now I'm waiting for 2 movies. An upgrade to my Species DVD and Dawn of the Dead... I love that movie!
Oh yeah... I also bought a new home theater so I can't complain.

Yeah, the DVD is just the DVD (orange cover). The CD is sold separately, and if you buy it at a non-Christian retailer, you'll get the bonus CD with it (for a limited time). It has a green cover and should be on the new release stack- there's been a big display for it in every store I've been in. If it's not there, then it should be in either Pop or Christian sections (hopefully both).... or *shudder* in the back room. But then, I've heard of some stores placing it in the country section. Best Buy and Media Play are both selling the CD for $9.99 this week only.

In Suncoast they have this special where you can buy 2 movies of $14.99 for $20.
I'm going to take advantage of that!!!

Today I got: The Changeling (I heard it is a very good horror movie) and the first season of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. More than season it has the pilot episodes plus 4 never before seen ones.
When I went to pay, the register said " old school".

I'm feeling old. This cartoons aren't that old, 1987.

Picked up Day After Tomorrow at Costco. The movie's pretty good, but I bought it mostly because of the $5-Off coupon for I, Robot that came with it.

Recent DVD purchases:
UK:
Day After Tomorrow - 2 Disc, with Slipcover and 3D Cover!
UK:
Fahrenheit 9/11 - sadly missing a couple of music supplements from R1
US:
Bush Family Fortunes: The Best Democracy Money Can Buy
CAN:
Due South Season 3 - Unlike most people I actually like the faux Ray, and think he was introduced cleverly
UK:
Ross Noble Unrealtime 2 Disc (includes full Ross Noble Live At Regent's Park)
UK:
Conan The Destroyer SE (sent by accident - but has slipcover and lobby card reproductions)
UK:
Amityville 3D 2 Disc (with slipcover! includes lobby cards, 2 pairs of 3D specs and 3D and Non-3D versions of the film)
US:
Friday 13th Ultimate Collection - it's ok, but as we know if could have been better. Why no Friday 13th 3D? They managed to do a crappy film like Amityville 3D in the much smaller UK market

Disappointed the advertised "Scary Trailers" featurette is not on the bonus disc.
UK:
Dungeons and Dragons Box Set - this is excellent. 4 Aramay discs in a solid cardboard slipcover which "opens like a book". Wonderful. Looking forward to seeing the discs.
UK
Black Books 3
UK
Little Britain
And I just went out and bought
UK
Danger 50,000 Volts! presented by Spaced and Shaun of the Dead's very own Nick Frost!
Items still not come: US Aladdin Gift Set and US Star Wars Trilogy.

My favorite from all the Star Trek movies, with II and VI following.
Oops, I didn't buy any new DVDs so I really shouldn't be posting here...should I remedy that and buy some this weekend? LOL

Hey MickeyMouseBoy, since you have the new Dracula'31 dvd in the Van Helsing 3-disc, can you tell if it has being remastered again and actually gotten right this time? Or is it a clone from one of the previuous 2 DVD masters (OOP individual release, or Legacy release).
