Who knows, maybe the movie will have a new restoration.
Are you getting the new Blu-Ray? I sure am! :D  I'll just trade the code though since I already have the digital copy. 8)

OMG! On iTunes you can view all the bonus features! Just not on Disney Movies Anywhere app! OMG, I'm a kid in a candy store right now lol! :milkbuds:
The restoration looks a little better, although I'm viewing it on my iPhone lol.
I'll check it out later on my TV!
I'm so happy right now! :D

Matt, how did you manage to watch the bonus features?
I have the digital copy from 2011 too, I deleted the movie from my library on my iPad and tried to re-download it from the "Purchased" tab but it downloaded the original version again with the 2011 artwork and no iTunes extras. Am I doing something wrong?

Cool! That's odd that you can watch them on iTunes but not on Disney Movies Anywhere. The film looks better than it did on the previous Blu-ray? That's fantastic. Now, I'm really excited to get it. How was the sneak peek to the live action movie?

Yes, definitely. Just pre-ordered it on Disney Store, so that I can receive the lithographs as well. :) By the way, is there anyone here who preordered the Blu-ray from a physical store? If yes, how are the lithographs? :D

I'm so ticked! They took two bonus features out! :x I should have watched them all when I had the chance lol.
I also didn't get the chance to view the Live Action BATB bonus clip as well. :(
I guess Disney is telling iTunes to take some of them down until September 6th? :?:
I'm just so confused! Why not let the people who have the digital copy have everything already and not toy with our emotions like this! Lol
And the restoration looks exactly like the Diamond Edition. That hasn't changed. :|
I guess it will grow on me.
But I am just so happy I have all the versions (except the 3-D version) of the movie on Digital HD! :D  :milkbuds:

That's too bad. But don't you have the Diamond Edition Blu-ray copy? You can watch them there :)

About the restoration, maybe it will change once the Digital HD copy of the movie will be released, and until then, they will keep the old one. Just a thought. That may not be the case, but here's hoping.

I sent an email to Disney about the incorrect shot of the enchanted objects not being in front of Belle and the Beast reading by the fire at the end of "Something There".

You should also tell them about restoring the original blue castle Disney logo and credits.

Ok I sent them an email about those, too.

I suppose it is too late now, but I hope Disney got the memo that fans wanted the 3D restoration for this blu-ray since that's the closest to the original, and even then the 3D restoration isn't ideal, but it's the lesser of all the evils that Disney has presented to us.

Also, with them changing the way the movie looks three times, I'm not really sure what exactly they want/wanted the movie to look like anymore. lol

I don't know if Belle's bandaging him or putting out his eye. I think this picture could be of that part in the original story when Belle returns to the beast who is dying because she didn't keep her promise to come back in time, and not some moment where she's tending to a wound.

They literally only talk about Beauty and the Beast/other Menken works in the featurette. Dude.

Would this be worth the import ? I didn't bother with Snow in the end, but wondering if its worth while picking up Snow & Beauty.

I do already have both of them on their latest Bluray editions (and Disney Life membership!)

Lin is very talkative lol. Overall I liked the 'new' Disney composers sitting down with Menken to discuss his work. I don't think it would be fair to blame Menken's expulsion from WDAS on the new guys.

At least he's very involved in the upcoming live-action stuff.
