Huh. Now this is something I wasn't expecting.

A lot sooner than I'd have expected, but I mean ... this is definitely the kind of thing that will keep me logged onto Disney+.
Pity we don't get to see the original Broadway cast, but if I must "settle" for Samantha Barks, I will bear this burden as gracefully as I can.

It's good that it's with Samantha Barks cause now the unintentional joke from Frozen II can retroactively make sense.

I saw Samantha at London and she was incredible. I only saw the original cast from Broadway on vídeo but I can asure you that the original London cast is amazing.

It's ironic the filmed version is called "Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical" when it was recorded in the UK with the London cast.

Lots of Disney musicals are called like that in Europe. It's a way to make them more attractive to the audience? In Spain BATB is called La Bella y la Bestia: El musical de Broadway.
They are actually Broadway musicals no matter where they are recorded or where they are be playing.

I'm surprised they haven't set a date for this yet. I actually think it would have made sense to release this on Christmas. They always used to release something on Disney+ for Christmas but it doesn't seem they have anything for this year.

I'm still kinda ... (broiled is the word I keep coming to for whatever reason) that the licensed show now has that new duet written for Anna and Elsa in the castle in the place of the reprise of "First Time in Forever," and will feature in this official recording.

The new duet is much better than the for the first time in forever reprise. In my opinion they made a great job trying to reflect the character's problems in this song and it's much deeper than FTFTIF. I saw the musical in London and I have to say that the scene where they sing this song is one of the best scenes in the show.
