Hey everyone,

I have a question about the new Ichabod/Mr.Toad release: the dvds included, do they have the same transfer used for the blu ray, or is it the same transfer from the 2000 dvd?

THanks for the help!

My amazon preorder for "Ichabod/Fun" finally changed status to "Preparing for Shipment".

I received my "Ichabod/Fun" Blu today and just wanted to let everyone know that the horseshoes and leaves at the bottom of the cover art DO NOT overlap on the actual product , it's only like that n the online pictures.

Please Disney, finally announce:

-The Black Cauldron on BD
-Winnie the Pooh on BD for Europe
-bring The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and The Great Mouse Detective to Europe and we´ll be happy; also, of you´d like to release Ichabod and Mr. Toad as a single release on BD would be just awesome.

I read this quickly and got excited and thought they had announced Black Caudron.

Rescuers Down Under for UK and Toy Story of Terror blu-ray is something I'd be pleased to see.

As its the 25th anniversary of TLM, I'd also quite like a collectors edition of TLM like the DVD/book sets they did for Snow White/Sleeping Beauty in the UK and Aladdin/Lion King in US. I'm sad it never got anything like this when the platinum DVD was released.

Does anyone know yet how long the special feature on Marc Davis is on the Sleeping Beauty Diamond edition?

Do you guys think there's still a chance for more DAC Blu-ray release(s) this year?

2015 will mark The Black Cauldron's 30th Anniversary so there's a good chance we'll see it then. Who knows, they might still surprise us with a Halloween release this year.

If they use recycled cover art for this, I'm praying for the old (and amazing) Gold Collection cover and not the 25th Anniversary one...

I'm crying over here expecting a Brazilian release for any of the Pooh movies. The original classic was never released on DVD over here, and 2012 one was only released in DVD. Talk about injustice.

I'm really hoping for a TBC release next year. That cover on blu-ray.com would be amazing.

Although disney has surprised us in the past by releasing a really nice Horned King figure and the movie was included with the villains cover´s DVD I doubt they care that much as to release the movie because it celebrates it´s 30th Ann., however, given the fact that (aside from the package films) it is the only movie left to be released on BD I don´t see why not they wouldn´t do it in 2015.

I especially don´y understand why Winnie the Pooh wasn´t released in BD in most countries. Especially since, just because it wasn´t released in the formt didn´t mean Disney stepped over it since between Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph they skipped the correct number on the spine. Meaning there´s a movie that fits between those 2.

Wait--when did Disney release a Horned King figure? Are you talking about the Villains 4 Vinylmation? Or is there a Horned King figure I don't know about? (If so, I'm intrigued!)

No. I´m talking about this gorgeous piece of art:

True, it was made by Sideshow but it wouldn´t have been made without Disney letting them do it.

...I´m not a fan of the movie, although I do like it and the Horned King is amazing, so if I had the money I would have bought it.

Sideshow always does amazing work. I wish they'd revive their Buffy line.

Sweet! So we can assume we'll be getting this Spring 2015. Hopefully, we see Aladdin (I want 3D!) as the Fall 2015 release and not a re-release of Pinocchio.

Most probably will be like the European edition. We, in Spain at least, didn´t get it as Diamond but in terms of contents it´s the same as the the Platinum Edition.

Well... the platinum edition of Aladdin was pretty amazing. I don't know what else they could add to it to make it better, special features wise.

Now here is an alarming thing: in the trailer for 101 Dalmatians Diamond Edition, the shot where Cruella is at the door, and there is lightning behind her... um... her cigarette has been removed. I TRULY HOPE THIS IS JUST FOR THE TRAILER.... I would hate it if they tampered with the film...

Hold onto your platinum editions just in case!
Hopefully it's just for the trailer or the film will be ruined.

It's probably just for the trailer because the trailer doesn't have a smoking disclaimer like the film will.

But if they do take Cruella's cigarette away, I will be royally pissed off as will MANY other fans. Taking her cigarette away would be the same as taking Pinocchio's nose away...both are huge trademarks of the characters.
