Yeah, I was surprised by that, but I guess they are waiting to add more songs to the awards page or after the soundtrack is released, before campaigning the other songs. They would be silly not to promote more than one song, considering Frog's double nominations last year.

Also, is anybody else surprised that it's being campaigned in best original screenplay and not adapted. Reading the plot summary of Tangled, while it's still changed in that usual Disney way, it's still obviously based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Maybe they don't want to compete with Toy Story 3, which is being campaigned for adapted screenplay.

And I've now listened to "I See the Light" a couple of times and in classic Menken fashion, it grows on me the more I listen to it. I remember not being big on the Hunchback and Hercules songs at first, but now I find myself constantly listening to those soundtracks.

I cried! The song is beautiful!!! Epic! I adore it!

What's wrong with it? I think it's cute!

I do think the lyric should've been "All those years, inside looking out" instead of "outside looking in"... would've been a good play on words and more accurate.

If that's fan made, then that fan must've broken into Disney's computers and used all their rigs and then hired their lighters and compositors as well. And that shot is the same as in the Wanted video. Soo... doesn't that even more-so mean that it's obviously an official image?

And to whoever said Disney must be freaking out now that the song is leaked... it wasn't leaked. It was put up on their official awards page. They're the ones who put it up there.

Well, I have to say I'm quite disappointed. Glenn Slater obviously hasn't improved as a lyricist. His lyrics are quite banal and net very imaginative.
What a pitty Alan Menken doesn't pair with Stephen Schwartz anymore.

EDIT: I would also say the image in question is either fanmade or an early test shot, because when that scene happens in the movie Rapunzel is not standing over Flynn XD

Exactly. Promotional images usually try to fit in all the characters. It wasn't exactly complicated for them to put Rapunzel back there, take a screenshot and call it a day.
