Well, I'm a girl, for one. And I'm pretty sure disneyprincess11 and jazzflower92 are girls. And I picture atlanticaunderthesea as a girl too, but I don't know. Oh, and Morgan from the Rotoscopers recently joined. But yeah, there's a depressingly low number of girls on UD. Weird, considering it's mostly a Disney forum.

Back in the early days at UD, the members were predominantly male. Why? Before the likes of Facebook, Pinterest, and Tumblr, there were no girls on the internet.

I think if there were more women here, there’d be a lot less disagreements. I know I get along with women much more in Real Life, so I’m sure the Internet would be the same.

I sure hope so! If anything, I'll be able to use the leverage of already having been there to my advantage, so I'll save some time in-between rides .

Yep, I spent three days in Paris and a day in Disneyland. Not nearly enough time for either of them...

I wish I had known someone from UD was there, maybe we could have arranged some sort of a get-together... Perhaps we should have a thread where we could state our holiday plans, something like "I'll be in [location] on [date], in case any UDer(s) from around that place would like to meet me". Then again, that sounds kind of stalkery/creepy/too forward...

A thread posted where anyone could read it would definately be a safety issue, especially when we don't know what everyone looks like or have met them in person before. That kind of thing is better saved for PM.

I was in France for 3 months on an exchange, so I probably wasn't in Paris on the day you were there anyway. And I agree, but I think we would have to find a way that keeps the creepiness factor to a minimum.

Ah, well, maybe some other time ... About the other thing, I think maybe a combination of a thread and PMs, like Flanger-Hanger suggested, would be fine and help with easing up safety issues/general weirdness. We'll see.
