I think it's safe to assume that Disney will release "The Lion King" like "Bambi," a two-disc release with just one DVD and one BD. I won't complain until I find out how much bonus material will be on that BD.Haralampos wrote:http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz
I think it's official but why 1 BD (first movie)
AMAZING SET! THANKS!Haralampos wrote:http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

I really hope that, inside the box, we find 3 bluray cases, one for each movie.UmbrellaFish wrote:I'm probably going to pick up the box-set, as I've always had a soft-spot for "The Lion King" sequels, but I hope Disney comes up with a better way of placing the discs in this box set than what they did with the "Toy Story" set, which is a nightmare.
Same here. A film like Lion King is bound to have tons more bonuses or at least a greater interest in them.zackisthewalrus wrote:I really hope Disney reconsiders putting The Lion King on 2 BDs (minus the 3DBD) rather than just 1. Not only are there 2 different versions of the film, but there are TONS of bonuses, and there will more than likely be more.
Me too... If it's not in a more secured way than the Toy Story Collection Blu rays were than I might not pick this up...and it depends if this is released in October or if they others will be separate....I will reserve my decision until a lot more info on the Lion King Collection on what type of packaging it is and such...pick wrote:I really hope that, inside the box, we find 3 bluray cases, one for each movie.UmbrellaFish wrote:I'm probably going to pick up the box-set, as I've always had a soft-spot for "The Lion King" sequels, but I hope Disney comes up with a better way of placing the discs in this box set than what they did with the "Toy Story" set, which is a nightmare.
