*Late bump*
I'm back.
About a year ago this month, I hit quite a new low health wise. Quite happy to say that I have greatly improved all around. Still have a little ways to go, but one step at a time.
I've also been super busy ever since I joined a great group called Toastmasters, and have been working with them quite a bit. Recently been promoted up to be in charge of PR.
However, I missed this place quite a bit and decided to come back and try posting more.

I'm not returning, but I'd just like to say ten things:
1) I was right all along when it came to Joe Jump (as it was then known)/Wreck It Ralf.
2) Still think Pixar films are way overrated.
3) I still want to slap Alice from Alice in Wonderland and Wendy from Peter Pan.
4) Studios not content with shafting DVD owners (with missing supplements) are now shafting Blu-ray owners by not exploiting the technology to its full potential.
5) Moffat's Doctor Who is not as good as Davies' Doctor Who (but Smith is better than Tennant).
6) Treasure Planet still rocks - the most underrated DAC ever.
7) Madame Medusa was not, and never was, "Walt Disney's favourite villain"
8) Some of the Disney sequels have been knocking above average, but most are sadly, below average. Return to Never Land is obviously better than Peter Pan (so there).
9) Disney won't wreck the Star Wars franchise (Lucas did a pretty good job of that himself) but... sadly, I can't see them returning it greatness either.
10) The Snow Queen/Frozen will never be released. I know, I know, its down for this year. But is it? Think about it. Is it?

I agree on both counts. Problematically, Moffat is a perfectionist and a bit of a slow writer; when he only had one story to write a year, he had plenty of time to do it. When he has to write several - not to mention mapping out the complex story arc for the whole series - the quality of his work deteriorates. Still, I think he's on par with Davies overall - Moffat's ideas and plots are great, whereas Davies' characters and dialogue is great; Moffat's characters and dialogue can be poor, while Davies' ideas and plots can also be poor (particularly their resolutions).

As much as I dislike Peter Pan, its good bits are better than any of the (infrequent) good bits in Return to Never Land.
I wish you posted more often. We need more Doctor Who fans.

I welcomed you in another thread, but I don't mind saynig it again: welcome back,
Chernabog_Rocks!
2099net, nice to see you post again, even if it's just a one-off.

Thank you
To add to the topic, I miss Aladdin from Agrabah. I stumbled across his old art thread here, and sadly the links don't seem to work anymore.

So I heard that the UD forums got a new look, so I came to check it out and say hi! I can't believe it's been so long, I feel like I'm at a school reunion. Just wanted to say UD has brought some really great people into my life and I never thought I'd get to actually meet some of you in person. Thanks, Luke and UD and everyone here in this community for enriching my life so much.
p.s. It's ironic that my avatar is Stitch and now I have such a strong dislike for him. Mostly due to his MK attraction.
Hopefully my next post won't take 3 years again. Allons-y! (I can't believe netty thinks 11>10)

So I've been back for a couple weeks, just to see how the new forums functioned, as well as checking the place out again. I think I'll stick around, if that's okay with everyone. If it's not, tough cookies. And if I ever decide to leave again, the only word you should trust on why I go is mine. Don't believe anyone else unless they actually say, "Escapay told me this...". Till then, enjoy the milk buds...

Well,
Escapay told me . . . oh wait, he's here.
And hey, I'm here too.

I guess I've been officially back for a while now. As I've said before, I'm glad Rey and I could help out with the forum.
Watch out for those Milk Buds though.

Hooray for people being back! I'm back too, sort of, in a random kind of way. I'm pretty sure I need to get tested for ADD.
Ooooh, I just got distracted by something else....
