They'll probably have both - I would think - however, maybe only a limited stock of the deluxe.
Do you know how much for though? Because 2 of my friends and I do this gift exchange and we have a $20 limit per person, and one of my friends couldn't decide on Britney's new CD or a Target or Wal-Mart gift card, so I was thinking of just getting the standard edition (which will be $10) and then a $10 Target gift card for my friend, and then buying myself a copy of the Deluxe Edition. Wal-Mart probably won't have it for cheap because their CDs (and some DVDs) really aren't that cheap.
Hmm...my guess is $15-16.00?? Definitely not more than $20.00 though for the Deluxe.

Yay! Britney's got a new album out and is performing again.
She must be so happy?
Mustn't she?

Looks like she's in a bigger mess than ever before.

Good lord, that was the biggest bunch of bull I've ever read. They picked up on things I have never heard anyone say about her performance at all; the ill fitting costume and all that ... what the hell ?! My mum, who is pretty blank to Britney when it comes to her music etc, but wants to see her get better, said how amazing she looked. That was the general thoughts of everyone I have spoken to about it; it was not Britney's best, but hell, baby steps people ! And the main thought was how damn fine she looked! The outfit was hot, and made her look hot ... in no way ill fitting ... they are really basically saying she is not back to her 'hot' form yet. But I think she looks better then ever! Loads of my guy friends watched it, and they all said "When did Britney get hot again?!" That is one thing she cannot be faulted with.
From what I have read / seen / heard people talk about, they are chuffed to pieces that Britney was here, performed, and it taking baby steps back into the performance spotlight. I mean, this is her first piece of promoting in years. Of course it wasnt her best performance ever; people are expecting way too much too soon. They are setting themselves up for a fall.
Her personal situation is something that is hard for anyone else to comment on, as we do not know all the ins and outs. What people forget is how poorly Britney was, for a long time, and she hasnt been better for all that long. I think the whole dad situation will settle as soon as she gets even further into her recovery. She feels she is ready to be free, but I guess others dont. I think she knows they are doing whats best, but feels its her time now. It could be over by the time the tour finishes I think. Or possibly slackened. And people are focusing on her sadness in the documentary, when there were some wicked funny moments ... especially the shopping part ... "Hello, my names Matilda!"

Made me laugh so much. And her babies ?! How cute !
And who the hell belives the daily mail !
Will post my review of the album soon too !

Circus is a great music video, just wish that it was so frenetic and dimly lit/shot. Very good anyways.
The documentary was so good too, i actually felt like i was hearing her rather than the Britney with the promotion face on.
And i've been listening to the Circus album for about 3 weeks now, i downloaded it asap (don't worry, i've bought the CD/DVD too, it's shipped from the US

I'm always gonna support that girl ) and i can give it a 9/10. The standout tracks are- Womanizer, Out From Under, Circus, Kill the Lights, If You Seek Amy, and Unusual You. The other tracks I really love are Mannequin, Phonography, Amnesia, Mmm Papi, My Baby and Trouble, tho some dont really like these. They're fantastic in my opinion. Totally mediocre are Lace and Leather, Blur, and Rock Me In. But they can easily be overlooked, they aren't really really bad, but they are close to it. The other tracks are sooo soooo good, and it really is the comeback we wanted, Ive been wanting it forever, and without the bias, it's actually one of the best pop albums of the year.

Go buy it everyone!

ET Moves Up World Premiere of Britney’s ‘Circus’ Video!
Entertainment Tonight, in partnership with Jive Records, Britney Spears and her management have decided to move up the world premiere of the title video from her new album Circus from Friday, December 5, by a day to Thursday, December 4.
Fan frenzy has erupted around the globe as Britney's sixth studio album was released earlier this week on her 27th birthday. The move to shift the premiere date for the lavish "Circus" video came after a Korean Web site leaked an unauthorized version of the video on the web. Wanting her fans to experience the anxiously awaited follow-up to her hit single "Womanizer" in the bold high definition that Entertainment Tonight can provide, Ms. Spears decided to respond to the overwhelming international fan demand and move the premiere to Thursday's Entertainment Tonight.
An extended preview clip of Britney's "Circus" will stream at ETonline.com beginning at 7AM EST on Thursday, December 4. The site is currently streaming video packages from ET's exclusive coverage inside Britney's birthday party including her birthday wish, her celebrity guests and a special welcome just for her fans on ETonline.

Did you know that more than 400,000 tickets in North America alone have already been sold to insatiable Britney fans anxiously awaiting her world tour?
Add to that the 100,000 tickets sold for Brit's London dates, and you're talking the entire population of Albuquerque, New Mexico!
Thank god all of those frenzied fans don't actually live in one city. (Can you imagine such an enclave? Who knows, it might actually be pretty awesome to live in Britneyland.)
"This show will blow people's minds, and promises to show Britney's fans something they will never forget!" says Brit's manager Larry Rudolph.
I need not convince you anymore that people are going absolutely bananas for 'The Circus Starring Britney Spears' 2009 North American Tour. And in order to meet the overwhelming rush for tickets, tour promoter AEG Live immediately added six shows in Los Angeles, Toronto, New Jersey, Chicago, Long Island, NY and Anaheim, CA, expanding Brit's tour to now include 41 concerts.
New tour date added!

Andre and Wade officially no longer working with Britney for The Circus Starring: Britney Spears!
It's official! Jamie King will be directing Britney's "The Circus Starring Britney Spears" tour according to the McDonald Selznick Associates!
The MSA Agency, who represents Jamie King, posted a congratulatory note on their website, saying:
quote:
"Britney's back and going on tour to promote her new album Circus! Congratulations to Jamie King who will be the tour's director. Simon Ellis will be the Musical Director for the tour."
Jamie King has directed / choreographed countless world tours including Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet Tour," Christina Aguilera's "Back To Basics" tour, and Britney's "Oops!... I Did It Again" tour (full list here.)
Wade Robson, the original director for the Circus tour, has reportedly quit, along with lead choreographer Andre Fuentes. No word on why the shake-up behind-the-scenes has ensued, but an inside source has revealed to BreatheHeavy.com that Wade has "had it."

Color me shocked! It is one of my favorite songs on the album, though. Do you think that it'll be censored for radio? Will it be edited at all (like a radio edit)?

I'm shocked too. I wonder how successful it will be, since it's sorta...dirty (leading up to less radio play?). I know it's a fan favorite, but it makes me curious to see how others will react.

Yeah, I wonder how (if) it will be edited?

I haven't listened to all of the tracks on her new album, but I really thought Blackout was a great album from what I'd heard. I also do think "Womanizer" was a good song. Britney Spears might be the only artist whose music is overall more compelling and entertaining when she's out of control or the veil has been lifted off the concept of her innocence. Her "dirty" music has certainly proved to be better than Madonna trying to prove she can still shock people.

It's not secret, everyone knows it - Every member of the FCC is going to hell (if there is one) when they die. There's no way around it. They ruin everything for everyone. In fact, it's because of uptight censors that Britney and company make songs that feel they have to push the boundaries anyway.
If U Seek Amy wouldn't exist without the FCC and the freaks who think censors are that important to society. Is that some irony? Ya think?
