Clara Bow: Runnin' Wild by David Stenn. A great biography on one of the greatest screen legends of all time, and unlike a bunch of tabloid trash that would have you believe she was a major whore, it paints her as a sympathetic character, who more resembled a frightened little child than the sexed-up characters she often portrayed on screen. Read the entire thing in one 3-4 hour sitting - it's not very long at all. Under 300 pages.

I finished Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go for AP English when school starts. It was okay; there could have been a much more interesting story about the material, but you can't please everybody. 7/10

Up next, for school of course, is How To Read Literature Like A Professor.

I'm still going through my library books. Books I've recently read include "The Art of The Lion King" (which didn't have much text) and "The Art of The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (which had a lot of text), and I'm reading (well, re-reading) "Mouse Under Glass", which, even though I've read it a few times before, still has things that I had forgotten- it's such an interesting book.

I forgot to mention "Fast Food Nation"- it was so interesting! A few sections made me a bit uncomfortable, but it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. I haven't sworn off fast food at all since reading it! But it was very interesting, nevertheless.

I have put The Catcher in the Rye aside for now and I am currently reading Animal Farm by George Orwell. I read this before in middle school and I think it is a pretty interesting book.

I finished Animal Farm and I am now re-reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince since the movie is coming out this week.

I have the same book waiting for me, but I have some other things to do (movies to watch, etc.) and I also have some other books that will arrive this week that I really want to read, so I'm kind of hesitant. But then again, it is a short book. But you liked it?

Just finished Gregory Maguire's "Wicked - the life and times of the Wicked Witch of the West", mainly because I'm gonna see the musical in Stuttgart in August. I'm so excited

I liked the book, although it was a little bit difficult to understand at times (but I had to buy the English one, it was 10€ cheaper than the German translation!)

I also started to re-read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for the movie release, but I fear I'm not gonna make it until this evening... And I also still got to watch the Order of the Phoenix, so... yeah.

I just finished re-reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I wanted to read this again before I see the movie, which I will be doing on Tuesday.

^^ Ugh, that's probably the worst thing you can do before watching a film. Trust me, I'm speaking from experience. I re-read Order of the Phoenix just hours before seeing the movie and that resulted in me feeling very negative towards it. Only when I saw it on DVD was I able to enjoy it.

I'm in the middle of The Scarlet Letter, and I'm surprised by how much I like it. I didn't think I'd enjoy it so much, but I can relate in some ways to Hester Prynne. Just a great novel!

I've started reading it and it's kind of strange. I don't really know what I think about it; I guess I'll have an opinion by the end though. It's just kind of weird.

it's really quite a sad story with alot of gay erotica. It really shocked me. Nothing like the other books. It's totally hot, though

hmmm i think it can be excusable since, in the books vampires don't have sexual feelings like humans. Their desire is in blood. Although, he isn't a vampire until he's 17 and up until then he's been pretty much a whore!
