i think it did very good. the only other good movie was lilo and stitch. all there other movies did bad. disney s chicken little is a hit.
Outside of the US, Disney has no connection what-so-ever to the movie. Maybe that's why... Where are you from?landofdisney wrote:Saw trailer for Valiant (without ANY disney references for some reason)

In Australia. I figured that must be the reason but was a little surprised that Disney didn't distribute it globally. Looks like a decent movieDisneyFan 2000 wrote:Outside of the US, Disney has no connection what-so-ever to the movie. Maybe that's why... Eww. It was a bomb in both the US and the UK. And it got appaling reviews. That should tell you something......landofdisney wrote:I figured that must be the reason but was a little surprised that Disney didn't distribute it globally. Looks like a decent movie
I wouldn't call it one of Disney's worst animated films, but it isn't spectacular. I might give it a 7/10. Oh yeah, I don't hate you, I just disagree with you.Wonderlicious wrote:I know that people like Timon/Pumbaa Fan and 2099net will hate me for saying this, but I think that this is actually one of Disney's worst animated films. Sorry.
5/10
I have to agree, though I would give it even less. This pales in comparission to even the most modest of Disney's animated feature cannon. I thought it was disappointing from start to finish, and to be honest for a comedy it rarely made me laugh.Wonderlicious wrote:I know that people like Timon/Pumbaa Fan and 2099net will hate me for saying this, but I think that this is actually one of Disney's worst animated films. Me, too. I didn't really have much interest towards it until I saw the DVD at a rental store and curiosity won me over.Wonderlicious wrote:I finally rented Chicken Little and saw it
That's an interesting point of view. I thought the beginning was uninteresting and too long - the film got better IMO with the aliens. But not much. I ended up skipping and fast forwarding portions of it.Wonderlicious wrote:After the baseball game, however, and when the piece of the sky fell, the story just changed direction completely, turning from an emotional story into a high energy yet not emotionally connectingpiece. It almost seemed as though some Disney executive had forced the crew to put the whole alien plot into the story without any consideration towards the emotional arc, which becomes destroyed by a childish idea.

Don't forget Jeff Murdoch!2099net wrote:It's all about a looser rather than a hero. If only the geeky bird in question had been a partridge. Alan Partridge.
