With the success the film has had, I think they certainly will release it, just a matter of time. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

I am a little bit peeved that Disney is holding back a 3-D Blu-ray of Frozen, but due to it's success, I can wait. I'll get the Blu-ray for now.

Not a protagonist, but Ursula is shown eating in her first shot. But it is portrayed as horrific because the shrimp she's eating is alive (and, apparently, sentient like all the other underwater animals in the movie...).

Anyway, I wouldn't mind Frozen sequels (yes, plural). Actually, I'd love them and I believe the story definitely has room for it. Of course, Wreck-It Ralph seemed like the obvious sequel-maker to me (and it did as well financially as Tangled no matter what Disney thinks, better if you consider Tangled's budget; it probably just didn't sell merchandise like they wanted because it couldn't rely on the Disney Princess line like Tangled), but I would also love Frozen sequels.

Honestly, I don't know why anybody would be shocked. I assumed this was the reason for the stupid titles in the first place--so it wouldn't seem as awkward as it would if there was a Rapunzel 2 or a The Snow Queen 2.

Nice new TV ad for the sing-along screenings of Frozen. Now this movie is dubbed as "The Phenomenon" by Disney.

Do Disney Broadway musicals usually get put up that quickly though? I'd imagine that pre-production (like song and script writing) would be underway if they were confident enough to register the domain. It's also fishy how they'd have "Frozen" in a generic font rather than using the actual title design as a placeholder.

And from what i can tell from broadwayworld.com boards, they registered FROZENTHEMUSICAL.COM to grab it before someone did. But, it could be a sign thst things are going well.

And it's interesting that there's no site for Hunchback which is about to have a Pre-Broadway run, but there are sites for 2 projects that are in development, and they could be cancelled anytime.

Well, the Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King stage shows were first performed three years after the movies' releases. So it's not too out of the question.

Frozen is now the highest grossing animated movie of 2013 in the US, defeating DM2.

Not to mention, it now passed $900 million globally. Just under $100 million to reach the $1 billion mark, and it STILL hasn't been released in Japan yet!

If there's anything Disney learned from the Renaissance days, it's how to build off a hit movie. And I think everyone knew there was no question this film would end up as a musical considering 1.) it's doing extremely well financially (probably more than Disney even hoped) and 2.) how well-received the music has been.

Plus, Robert Lopez, who wrote the songs (with his wife), penned Avenue Q and Book of Mormon, both greatly successful Broadway shows. I haven't seen Book of Mormon yet, but Avenue Q was hilarious and excellently done.

Oh, Im so glad. I have my issues with Frozen, but it was 10 times better than Despicable Me 2! (and Despicable Me 1 for that matter)

I liked Avenue Q a lot too... (also have some issues with it), but I wouldn't say that musical stood out for its music.... (I havent seen Book of Mormon).

Anybody else notice that ALL the songs in Frozen end in an awkward note? (usually abruptly interrupted by something)

GUYS ! Santino Fontana MIGHT be playing Prince Hans on Broadway !

If you don't know who he is, he plays Prince Topher on Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella recently, and he does the voice of Hans. He is like, a huge sweetie-pie and if you don't know about him now, you need to now !

I don't really think that Santino Fontana should be Hans. He should play characters that sing at least 2 songs. lol.

The role is too small for him, unless they expand it.
