The Simpsons: The Complete Sixth Season

I'm so excited, The Simpsons seasons 1-7 are only AU: $29. 95 at the moment! Or US: $22.95! An excellent time to start up my Simpsons Collection

Just finished the Clint Walker series Cheyenne - Season One and am on the last disc of Rawhide - The Complete First Season with Clint Eastwood and Eric Fleming.

I have to agree Luke - as you know I had reservations about you seeing S2. It is frustrating when there's so much good stuff in with the cruder stuff. However, for the record I do quite like the vomiting Judy and I also like the mother and daughter at the roadside diner in the deleted scenes, despite both series of sketches being somewhat racy and/or crude.

Anyhow, I've just finished The Comeback: The Complete Only Series and I loved it. As some people may remember, I'm becoming increasingly jaded at the traditional 3-camera, studio based, family sit-com. This opinion seems to be shared by The Comeback, which has a lot of satirical quips at the traditional sit-com. I love the character of Valerie. Like every good comedy character she is at times mean, spiteful, greedy, but she's also got humanity. I much perfer Kudrow's acting in this than Phoebe in Friends (and Phoebe was by far my fav character in the show). Here she does some real acting, and does it exceptionally well.

My only reservation is that, its follows the format of The Office really. Documentary filmmaking, a desperately flawed main character. Are the "new wave" comedies becoming as predictable as the traditional ones?

Just completed Season Three of Silk Stalkings with Mitzi Kapture and Rob Estes, one of my favorite cop shows of the early 90's and also finished Season Three of Remington Steele with Stefanie Zimbalist and Pierce Brosnan.

The Simpsons season 8. I watched a few episodes today such as Homer's Enemy and Homer and the 18th amendment

I just finished Rome: The Complete First Season.

I rented it and it was really good! Not as good as other HBO shows but still pretty good.

I finished Big Brother season 3. I liked Danielle on that season, but on season 7 I just don't like her.

I just finished Six Feet Under: The Complete Third Season.

I love this show. I can't get enough of The Fishers. I really want to see Season 4 but our blockbuster doesn't stock past season 3 yet and we're stopping Netflix, we only use it in the summer and school starts soon. I can't wait a year!

Have you tried going to Hollywood video? They are pretty good about having the newest seasons of T.V. shows.


In my last post I forgot to add that I watch season 1 of Nip/Tuck. I love it and it's now a new show I'm addicted too. I love watching the surgeries, even though they are gross I can't turn away.

I've recently finished Saved by the Bell: Seasons One & Two. SBTB pretty much rocks my world. Of the two, I prefer S1, but both are great and it's nice to see these episodes in a somewhat logical order for the first time in a long time. It's just a shame that the series hasn't been treated to bonus features (I want cast commentaries!).

3rd Rock From the Sun: The Complete Third Season - I actually finished the episodes a long time ago but just wrapped up the bonus features last night. A very fun show with some pretty good bonus features (even if this set's were French Stewart-heavy).

King of the Hill: Season 1, Season 2

Great entertainment. I could go on all day about how I enjoyed seeing these again but I won't . My favourite part was the 'Manger Babies' sequence with luanne...classic.

Darkwing Duck: Volume 1 - I finished watching it today (Monday afternoon) and am now working tirelessly on the review.

It's not a long season to finish but I jsut wrapped the 4400 season 1... I don't have the channel that airs the episodes here in Denmark, so I had to wait for it to fall in price online, and buy it through the internet.

BTW I'm still working on my Simpsons DVD. I only need to watch a few more episodes then I'm finished.

I just finished Manor House, and watched the entire series of Full Moon Wo Sagashite...one of the best animes of all time. I highly reccomend it. Manor House was one of the best PBS shows I have seen in a long time...very entertaining.

Now I have to wait to get The Tales of Avonlea set...I ordered it and will probably breeze through it on a weekend after I get it.

Watched the complete Series 1 and 2 of Open All Hours.

I watched seasons 1 and 2 of Nip/Tuck and now I'm on to season 3!!
