Just to note. Brother Bear wouldn't be around without Bambi and neither would The Lion King. On the DVD "The Making Of Brother Bear" there is mention of Bambi.

Out here foresty is a major industry and like I said there was a forest fire out here 10 times the size of Stanley Park. That's why I don't understand how you could find a "forest fire" exciting. People have been evacuated from an area near a forest fire because it was so intense. Campfires were banned last year because of a high risk of forest fires.

Just because he said it was exciting, doesn't mean he thought it was a good thing. "Exciting" can mean suspenceful, and you have to admit that Bambi was suspenceful when the fire came along.

Dude, to make things clar, that an adult likes movies like Bambi or another Disne ones doesn´t eman that eh is´t a serious person or ven tht he doesn´ like war movies.

I have and love movies like The Saw,Scarface, the Godfather,Southpark, The wax house, the shine(boring),cube, the red thin line, saving private Ryan,doberman,28 days later and many more gore movies and man, I still love Bambi.

It is pretty obvious your post, since you aren´t a full grown up you will don´t understand the real importance of a movie like Bambi is not only the draws, but the music, the colors and even the context of the movie and when it was first released.
I hope that sometimg on the future you´ll be able to realize this factor before judging a movie.
For now, enjoy your teenagecy and relax, have friends, enjoy the "kinnda-crappy" movies full oaded with FX, ´cause is what teens do!
Belive me,there are persons, even children that never enjoyed a Disney movie just because of the draws

I mean, the education, the games, the technology of today it flows is mind with many ideas, stuff, data and else so quickly that all what they think now is things being faster, movies having more action, more impresive action scenes, more gory murders, more evident and profund plots.

Bambi´s charm is not only on the images but in the music, on the real plot that even when isn´t so visible as in other movies the charming thing is to find it for yourself and then watch it again, not only the draws, but the music, the meaning, the ove, the life bond and everything

Is it that surprising that Bambi isn't going to resonate that much with a 15 year old? I know I didn't care for it at that time. Alan, being a Disney fan, will probably come to like it when he's older. The same can be said for 15 year olds and Epcot.

When I was 8th I actually liked and understand many things that only a grown up would do.

Yeah. I'm 15 and I think Bambi is a great movie. I love the story it tells and it applies to us all, no matter what age we are. It is just not one of my favorites.

I'll just say that Bambi and a few other movies are the only disney animated classic I dislike

Alan, which other animated disney classics do you dislike. Why buy Bambi when you hate it so much. I'd call that wasting money to buy a movie just for the slipcover.

He most likely bought Bambi for the slipcover. It's actually sad that some people buy a movie just because of a piece of cardboard.

talking about Bambi, did you know that Bambi´s expresive eyes where the one who inspred not only the japanesse to make eyes like these on the anime but also those where copied from it to be used on american animation like the Puss in boots you have as avatar?

That's harsh. I love and appreciate Bambi, and I'm 16 years old! Plus, I'd choose Epcot anyday over a sappy Six Flags park!
