I believe a new trailer will play in front of 'Christopher Robin'. So, we just need to wait three more weeks.

Yup. I would love to see more of Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins. :)

Christmas is often one of the biggest days for moviegoing in the US. That's why studios crowd so many of their big movies around that time.

Christmas time yes, but Christmas DAY ? Is that a thing in the US to do ?

Around the time The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers came out, my family started a tradition of seeing a movie Christmas Day. But it ended when my cousin was against going to movies on Christmas because she had worked at a movie theater and new how sucky it was for people who had to work on Christmas. We still see movies Christmas day here and there, though.

I suppose it is a difference in one's culture. :) Like Atlantica I too would feel a little awkward going to the cinema on Christmas Day. However, getting together at home to watch a movie is different. No problem there.

Is there a possibility that the original Mary Poppins and even Saving Mr. Banks be released on 4K when the new film is released in theaters?

I never thought of that possibility honestly. I would imagine as a tie-in either for Returns theatrical release or home video release (the latter perfect considering Mary Poppins turns 55 that same year).

Isn't it time we got a new trailer for this one? Or will they do the same as with The Nun, and just give us the teaser?

That still shows really amazing production design.

The still proves why Rob Marshall's movies consistently have solid production design. It looks pretty atmospheric. :)

It is, yes. :) I would love to see more, though

BTW, do you guys think that the original Mary Poppins might get a re-release on Blu-ray or maybe even 4K?

It's ridiculous we haven't gotten any new since February, yet the Nutcracker just finished releasing their trailers

I feel like in all articles and things we've seen for this, Mary herself seems to be in the background, and slightly over shadowed by LMM ? Or is that just me ?

I hope she doesn't play second fiddle.

Also I did wonder, as they got Robert Sherman back for Christopher Robin, would they get him back for something on this ? Or is that a bit disrespectful of the new composers I wonder ...
