I've been reading Sarah Vowell's "Assassination Vacation" recently. Yes, Sarah Vowell as in Violet. No, I probably would never have read it if I hadn't seen The Incredibles.

Another point to be made in my addiction (hence my username). Someday I'll probably end up watching Mallrats, Thirteen, and reruns of Coach...Well, maybe Mallrats, but not so much the other two. I need to see Clerks, too...

Also, I have to read Ayn Rand's "Anthem" before school is back in session.

Well I've finished Azkaban and am now about 1/5 of the way through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! My I'm a quick reader!

I'm reading Shadows Of The Canyon by Tracie Peterson. It's a historical fiction by a Christian author.

I'm reading George Eliot's first book, Adam Bede. At about a third of the way in, I'm of the opinion that the book is pretty slow, but not entirely without some exciting moments. Ms. Eliot used a lot of symbolism in this book and wrote beautifully, but her archaic language is quite befuddling at times. However, since it's a classic, I'm sure it'll turn out to be a worthwhile read in the end.

I have stoped since I broke my wrist but was/should get back to reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.I was on chapter 16 at the time I stoped.

The last few books I have read over summer break are: Journey to the Center of the Earth, Catcher in the Rye(for school), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix(2nd time), and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

I am currently reading The Things They Carried for school.

In addition to Adam Bede, I'm currently perusing an e-text of The Call of the Wild by Jack London. Since it's such a short book, really only a novella, I figured I'd save money by reading it online instead of paying for only 120 pages or so. Having just finished the 3rd chapter, I haven't yet decided whether or not it's deserving of its status as a classic. I will say that some of the descriptions are very intense and bloody, and I've been making good use of dictionary.com.

I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and started on Queen Victoria: A Personal History by Christopher Hibbert (I've always been interested in learning about her since I saw Her Majesty, Mrs. Brown a few years back)
