Some other Easter Eggs in this short:

-Horace Horsecollar (?) at the 00:06 mark.
-The classic "Goofy Holler" at the 02:54 mark.
-Oswald the Lucky Rabbit can be spotted in the crowd at the 03:07 mark, towards the bottom left of the screen.

A lot of the comments that I have read on the official Disney Facebook pages in their postings about the new shorts are incromprehensibly stupid! If they were all in my presence, I'd strangle them all to death right now!!! Those simpletons obviously have no taste and no brains!!! Their hatred of these well-crafted new shorts needs to stop, starting this instant!!!

So, people aren't allowed to have their opinion? The rare negative comments I've read have mainly stated they don't find it funny (which is the most subjective thing in the world. Everyone has a different sense of humour), they're put off by the animation style (and admittedly, Flash is an acquired taste) and don't care for the character designs (which is perfectly valid, even if I disagree).

Just because somebody disagrees with your opinion does not mean they deserve to burn in the fiery pits of Modor (cookie for who gets the reference and no, it's not The Lord of the Rings. ). Let's save that hatred for rapists, racists and murderers. Instead of people who don't like a cartoon.

The next episode coming this Friday called Gasp! And I feel Pluto might be in this episode. I maybe wrong, but it's a possibility.

Well, as I said before, I think the main reason they dropped his peg leg was because it was hard for them to tell which leg was the bad one. In some shorts, it was on his left; in others, it was on his right. In "The Three Musketeers", it was on his right. But in the new shorts, as seen in the imagery earlier in the thread, it's on his left leg.

In any case, the last classic short to have Pete with the peg leg was "Mickey's Service Station", where it was on his right leg. His next short, "Moving Day", would be the first to have him with two good legs.

What did everyone think of "Gasp!"?

IMO, it didn't seem as exciting as the previous episodes, but it was still enjoyable.

I think it's good and cute. Could of been better though.

This one seemed like the type of story where the old animators would've used Pluto for most of the screen time, while Mickey would've been a background character. The fact that Pluto wasn't even in this one could be a tell of how well they're using Mickey as an active character.

Not as exciting as the last few episodes, but a few funny bits going on here.

I just can't help loving these shorts more and more. They really bring out the mischievous active side that Mickey has been missing for years. I can't wait for Pete to appear because I wonder what they are going to do with him as the villain.

Yeah, and I'm still waiting for Pluto to come. Gubbles is cute, but not as cute as Pluto.

The next episode is: Panda-monium. In this episode, Mickey attempts to photograph a cute, but bashful panda bear at the Beijing Zoo.
