oh, now I got itCampbellzSoup wrote:I meant like the older catalog titles being released this year too (non animation too)...just so many to keep track of!
How do you know they don't have slipcovers?Toky wrote:Well Pocahontas, Tarzan and The fox and the hound are released end of May in Holland here, no combo packs, just a hideous amaray keepcase...
Even the Muppets and John Carter don't even seem to get a special treatment and are released 1-disc no slipcover
Thanks. I've updated the first post.Lnds500 wrote:UK

The Great Mouse Detective - 18th September
Check out these two threads. You might find them helpful.CampbellzSoup wrote:I meant like the older catalog titles being released this year too (non animation too)...just so many to keep track of!
Yes, this thread is dedicated exclusively to animated titles on Blu-ray. If anyone wants to make a thread about live-action releases, that's obviously fine with me. I won't be making one as I'm not interested in (most) live-action films.Lnds500 wrote:It's an animation thread though; not sure if Sotiris wants to change the "style" of the thread or even create a new one.
Pinocchio is not part of the Diamond line in any country. The line is worldwide. It's been dropped in Germany, France (last year), Croatia, UK and I'm sure there will be more.universALLove wrote:Does this mean Pinocchio is no longer a part of the Diamond Edition line in the UK? Also, it was only re-released 3 years ago how come it's being released again so soon? It's getting confusing all these separate releases in different countries
They're posted on bol.com and images do not contain slipcovers(in fact it are just old recycled covers) and are listed amaray...If they did contain slipcovers images are mostly different(containing covers with the typical blue borders)....PatrickvD wrote:How do you know they don't have slipcovers?Toky wrote:Well Pocahontas, Tarzan and The fox and the hound are released end of May in Holland here, no combo packs, just a hideous amaray keepcase...

Yeah I had seen those but since the images looked identical to The Muppets and John Carter I was assuming they would be with slipcovers anyway. We'll see.Toky wrote:They're posted on bol.com and images do not contain slipcovers(in fact it are just old recycled covers) and are listed amaray...If they did contain slipcovers images are mostly different(containing covers with the typical blue borders)....PatrickvD wrote: How do you know they don't have slipcovers?
