While you can have clips to show off the restoration, having them be high bit-rate 1080p with DTS HD audio might require a bit more bandwidth.
Anyway, enough arguing about the cover. There's enough to ridicule both sides. And btw, covers and posters NEVER technically accurately represent any ONE scene in a movie.

Wow! A two-foot tall statue of the Evil Queen! Notify me when it doesn't cost a rough equivalent of $300, please.

I just saw this the other day on Sideshow's website and was absolutely floored! I'm so in love with this figure. She's one of my fav villains. I really hope they produce more premium format figs like this one (not that I actually have the money for one)

I love the Wicked Queen figure from Sideshow it's a really cool figure , though I'd prefer the Queen to be holding the Heark Box rather than standing upon it!!
I'd like to see a separate Witch/Peddler Woman figurine clutching the Apple in her gnarled talons!
Back to my subject : Surely it cannot be long before Disney adds a Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs mini website to it's Disneygo.com website to cash in on the forthcoming Blu Ray release on October 6th 2009???
It's release date is now less than two months away!!!

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the big deal about the website?

The
"big deal" about the website , is that we'll get to see in greater detail things like a list of the new features ( such as the
Snow White Returns Featurette ) , a series of High Definition Video Clips , so that we will be able to see for the very first time what wonders Disney's Technical Boys have wrought with their new technology upon a
72 year old motion picture classic!!
Hopefully there will be other unseen things like examples of pages from the Deluxe
Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Book etc!

I've lost track of how many times Disney Villain has told you that the site should be up by the end of the month if Disney follows the same pattern as Sleeping Beauty. If the website hasn't launched by August 31, then you can continue the sort of whining that follows in the vein of the classic "Are we there, yet?" Until then, please study this:

Seriously, if I get like this throughout the second half of next year when Alice BD info starts trickling in, you guys have my permission to silence me any way you see fit. Of course, I may delete this post before then just in case...

This reminds me of when people would bump up the "Secrets, Stories, and Magic" thread and we'd all clamor to it hoping it's an update, but instead was just another "Is this coming out? Is it?" post.
IIRC, if anyone bumped it without news, it was grounds for a banning.
Maybe we should do the same here. If anyone talks about the website without any substantial news about it (such as "It's up and running!"), they should be banned from the forums.

There are some new clips on the Amazon page that I think may be taken from the new restoration. The art looks beautiful.

Now we've seen some further clips on Amazon.com from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs maybe Disneykid and other posters who complained about my "whinging" can see what I was whinging on about!!
The new clips look just fabulous and my friend Brian Sibley the British Disney Historian contributor can be seen in two of the new clips in the new Making Of Snow White documentary!!

The restoration looks fantastic and the new bonuses look great. I was already very excited for this release, but now I can't wait.

I think I'm going to have to run a comparison between those clips and the old DVD. The restoration, while beautiful, looks a little too similar to the 2001 DVD. Once again, I'll compare the two before I jump to conclusions.

comparing the amazon and the old dvd.the old PE has a yellower skin...pale as snow.the new one got more blood in it..and the blusher is more prominent. by the looks of it,the latest edition has a more accurate color but nothing too drastic ala peter pan. the whites arent bluish tinted altho colors are a little too saturated and not as pastelly as the previous one.but whichever im glad i ll have both versions
