Yeah, I remember something about that as well. But his hype has gone down significantly, so I doubt they will do this, even if they were seriously considering this, which I doubt.

I would like to see more of the Mermaids....maybe Jack, Barbossa and Blackbeard in one scene together?
Or what the Fountain of Youth looks like....though that might be a spoiler for some people....

I must say, the more I see of this, the more I'm excited. It fits with the previous three while giving us things we haven't seen before in the franchise. That, coupled with what's promised to be a more streamlined narrative, makes me optimistic.

I'm a little concerned about that posh uniform Barbossa is wearing. If he's become a privateer or something like that, then it contradicts his goals in "At World's End," doesn't it?

Sadly, STILL not excited for this movie
The only element that I'm intrigued by are the mermaids, interested to see their role in the film.

LOVE these movies! One of my favorite trilogies...though I guess now movie series lol. I'm sure they'll do a good job, this is too big of a gamble to not!
