either would here nothing then or a squish
well...it depends the kind of pizza it was
for example, one with pineapple(however this pizza name is) would be like a big "squash" with some little "squishes"; or a veggie one would be like a plop sound :P

I was at the mall doing some Christmas shopping, and I was wearing a Minnie Mouse sweatshirt. As I was walking, some guy's idea of a pick-up line was "Hey, Mickey" or "How you doin', Mickey?" or something similar. If you're going to hit on me Disney-style, at least say the right character's name!

I had something else happen at the mall that I was going to write here, but I totally forgot what it was.

The pastor at my church and his family live nearby, and their daughters (ages 12, 10, and 7 or 8) and I have fun hanging out (they love Disney Channel, too!). We hung out yesterday, watching DVDs, and we were wastching the HSM concert DVD & a Hannah Montana concert DVD, and the little one said that she likes hearing me sing because I sing well. That was so sweet of here- she was sincere about it, and it made me have self-confidence...it was really cool!

I went to the doctor for a check-up (I went a week or 2 ago, too- this was the follow-up)- it's official- I have mono. Yay. :( But it's so hard to do bed-rest (the doctor wasn't thrilled that I haven't really attempted any bed rest yet), especially with the doggies- I don't trust my dogs 100&- Basset Hounds are known for their "skill" of being able to get away, and they have twice, so I don't want them being sneaky while I'm in bed all day...but if I don't leave the door open the whole time (we have a fenced in back yard), then they'll either whine for me to let them out or give them a snack, or else make a mess inside...

I just needed to rant.

Aww,Amy..I hope you get better soon!
:(

Well,my school band went to go see The Nutcracker today. It was great and all, just really..boring.. I really liked the dances from around the world, though. And the magician guy.

Then we headed over to a resteraunt for lunch. It was so good! :D

I was booted out of a choir for being the only mezzo-soprano and contralto mixture. (This occurred over a year ago.)

Hope you get better now Amy (why say get better soon when you can get better now?) or soon, whichever one comes first :)

I was kicked out of my Church a few years ago, apparently you actually have to show up and meet some weird showing up quota  Of course after they kick you out they still come door to door wanting your money for their programs

A church where you practically have to pay to show up? That's ridiculous. That defeats the purpose of a church.

Thanks, Anne & Shawn!

Why would you have gotten kicked out, Prudence? Was it because they couldn't find any parts for you to sing?

And, that sounds like not the best church, Shawn...that's weird!

Because the choir was small, Amy. My voice wasn't blending in with anyone else's.

Dan, I'm so sorry about your grandmother.

Does anyone know what this song is called in English? I'm playing it nonstop to cheer myself up. What a depressing holiday season this has turned out to be.

They send the people all over the place to collect money donations, of course I refuse to everytime.

Funny story, today one of them came over to ask for donations for some big something or other (I never found out what it was they wanted my money for). Anyways, they asked me the oddest question so I gave them my best sarcastic remark, here's how it went:

Church Collector: "Have you found Jesus today?"

Me: "Yes, he was behind the sofa the whole time, do you want to take him with you?"

They didn't seem too impressed

I probably would have answered with, "Don't tell me you guys lost him again! Man, I told Him to turn on His cell phone, but He didn't want to, He considered it the human equivalent to a dog leash." :P

I'm so sorry, Panfan. It's so horrible to lose a loved one, especially during the holiday season.

Both my grandmothers passed away before my parents were even married, so I never knew either of them, though we would always hear stories about them from our older cousins, aunts and uncles, parents, etc.

Never forget your grandmother, know that she is still with you in spirit, and that wherever she is, she is happy and at peace.

New version of the my customized theme song. This must be the fourth time I've rewritten this since 2002, not counting the versions I created with other people in mind.

The copyrights of the original song belong to Reba McEntire.

Survivor: Version Prudence

I was born two months too early
To almost be taken away,
But I must have had some unknown strength,
As well as inborn grace.

I'll simply keep on living,
Even if this life's too die for.
Be I grand duchess or on my own forever,
I can promise that I'll never
Surrender for I was born to be

The baby girl without a chance,
A victim of her own pride's mess,
The woman who should give up,
But she's just too hard headed.

La dame d'honneur who tries too hard,
Who loves her friends and never stops
With gentle hands and the heart of a fighter.
I'm a survivor.

My head and heart believe in myself
Even when it brings me down.
I'm like the queen of Murphy's Law,
So I can't hide behind a crown.

When the decks are stacked against me,
I won't play a different game;
Now my roots are planted in the past,
And though my life is changing fast,
Who I am is who I want to be!

The baby girl without a chance,
A victim of her own pride's mess,
The woman who should give up,
But she's just too hard headed.

La dame d'honneur who tries too hard,
Who loves her friends and never stops
With gentle hands and the heart of a fighter.
I'm a survivor.

Spoken: "It is the princess who deserves your praise, sire."

Ohhhhh,
La dame d'honneur who tries too hard,
Who loves her friends and never stops
With gentle hands and the heart of a fighter.
I'm a survivor.

But I must still have some unknown strength,
As well as inborn grace.

That's really sad, Dan- I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure she's in a better place now, though, and you'll always have your memories.
