Does anyone else think that the logo shown in the trailer might be the logo on the cover art? I'm not sure if i like it, if that's the case.

It's quite possible, yes.

When I first saw the trailer, I was like....this can't be a trailer, voice is different, has a fan made feeling to it. But then when it showed a Disney twist I was like...nvm it's officaly Disney. Great set up with the muisc too, has a horror thrill to it. As for the logo, I think it rocks and it should be used on the cover art.

I think there's a Youtube recut of a 101 Fan made trailer. so yeah, that's why this kinda seems funny at first.

I'm not too keen on it - it looks rather clipart-y. But, of course, it's the content of the DVD that really matters. :)

I'm sure it'll be touched up before release date since the characters aren't done in the 3-D airbrush style of the other Platinums. I'm just happy Pongo and Perdita are the primary focus instead of Cruella; they ARE the main characters, afterall.

I kinda sorta like it. I need to see it bigger, but it's not bad... at least it's a safe bet that Pongo / Perdita may be on the side instead of Cruella, which I'm always worried they'll do.

Same here, it looks decent, but it's hard to tell so small, I would love to see a larger image. It looks a little bright to me, I wish it had a bit of a darker look to it. But, I'm glad that Cruella is on the cover, not that I didn't think she would be.

I can't wait to see it touched up and larger, because I really like it! I like all the different colors. I do kinda wish it were a bit darker, but overall I like it better than some of the other PE coverarts.

I will say that I really like the use of red with the logo, and especially in the Platinum Edition banner, I think it looks nice. I think my problem with it is perhaps the backdrop location. Again, I really need to see it bigger before I can really decide.

HMV: among the last films to bear the personal touch of Walt Disney.

Not sure if that's true, cause on the Jungle Book dvd, it said Walt didn't touch 101 or Sword In The Stone...... anyways I'm glad it has some of Walt's touches on here. As for the cover I really enjoy it, the characters are perfectly set, the pups on the bottom/logo works lovely and such. The red banner is a nice touch too. Hopefuly we'll get a high Resoultion one.

The Jungle Book was the last movie to be supervised fully by Walt, and Walt didn't see the Sword in the Stone in it's finished form.

Actually, I'm pretty sure he did. They said on the Jungle Book DVD that Walt wasn't happy with how Sword in the Stone turned out, which is why he sought to have more control with The Jungle Book. Also, Sword in the Stone came out in 1963; Walt didn't die until 1966, giving him plenty of him to see the finished film.

Sorry, I checked IMDB and The Sword in the Stone got released before The Jungle Book.
