Yes, but the least you can do is respond to my posts about the DVDs I did put up. Is that too much to ask? I'm floored by you guys' installments and I try to praise them, so why can't you do the same for me? In case you haven't noticed, I revised the Pinocchio and Snow White DVDs, promoting them to Legacy Editions instead of merely Platinums. Besides, this is actually one of the better threads IMO.

It's not that we don't care, it's simply that we can't spend all of our time on one thread. For awhile I was kind of glad it left the front page, because I could commit myself to writing these things out without it being like a competition ("Who can do a multi-disc edition of The Nightmare Before Christmas?" "Ooh, me!" "No, look, mine's better!").

I've found it hard to comment the past few pages mainly because they're all looking very familiar now, with simply the names changed (A becomes X becomes W becomes K), but everything else remains virtually the same right down to descriptions. Then again, how many ways can someone say "a 90-minute documentary about the making of the film"?

Also, the past few pages have seen nothing but the three of us (with occasional others) coming in and posting, and even though I'm glad there's an audience of two, it seems kind of a waste for me to go to the lengths of looking up what kind of material exists, what types of processes were used, etc. and having apropos bonus material about it. In the early pages of the thread, everyone came and posted their nice wishful-thinking editions of films, but as the style of the lists became more complex, less and less people started posting. One reason I start out with shortform specs when I write them on my laptop, because I can't be bothered with writing out all the stuff I usually do.

BTW, thanks for updating the list, and great Legacy Edition for Snow White.

You know one of the things I added to that set? "The Walt Disney Comedy and Magic Revue", a 1985 VHS release, released around the time when Pinocchio was first released on video. Again, what do you think?

That's just the thing. I like doing them. I like having a nice format to follow and having it all look the same for me and others to read. Comparing my very first Ultimate to my latest, there's a huge difference in how it's written. It takes up time for me to write them out the way I want to, and sometimes I wonder why I bother since very few actually read them. Plus, with the way it's become easily adaptable for any movie, I wonder why I bother posting one after another if anyone can just copy it, and replace "Doctor Gulley and the Dalmatians of Doom" with "Happy the Dancing Elf of Phrooflington", while changing a couple other names s well. It gets repetitive, and is why I often end up taking breaks from posting them, even though several are actually done.

I haven't had a chance to give Pinocchio a proper once-over (skimmed it last time I was in the thread due to time), but I read it a few minutes ago and I enjoy the specs. Had no idea about the Comedy & Magic Revue though, so that's a nice touch. The 2000 featurette ("Wishes Come True") is actually only 5 minutes long, so you may want to call it "expanded edition" or something to qualify it as a main feature, lol.

I already have an expanded featurette ("Wish Upon a Star") and the only reason I have it there is because you have TWO featurettes on the making of Peter Pan on your Peter Pan Legacy set.

How about using ALL animated/live action Disney films. You forgot to include Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Pete's Dragon, Tron and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
