I started reading Catch 22 for school. I really don't know what to think of it yet, as I'm only a couple chapters in, but it does seem to be quite comical. Some things confuse me but that's probably because whenever I read I think of other random stuff yet my eyes keep on reading. Does that make sense? I'm reading, but I'm not. I don't know.

I read James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl last night. It only took me a little over two hours to read the whole thing. I thought it was pretty good and I noticed quite a few differences from the movie.

I've spent the past week or two reading Prince Caspian. I'm running through the Narnia series again.

Edit: And for school, I'm reading The Red Badge of Courage.

I'm about 3/4 through of Catch-22 and I have to say that I really don't care for it. It has zero plot and the characters, to me, are rather unintelligent. I don't see how it's a bestseller, but I'll just have to deal.

I'm reading Breaking Dawn as well and I'm glad that I'm finally on the third part because I much perfer Bella's point of view. I kinda saw what was going to happen like ten chapters ahead of when stuff happened, so it wasn't very surprising. Nonetheless, it's a mediocre series that holds your attention for the four books that it contains.

(now if you want a great series, read Harry Potter or the A Wrinkle In Time quintet)

I finished "The worst mothers in the world" (translated title) Friday and started reading Kristin Chenoweth's "A little bit wicked- Life, Love and Faith in stages" yesterday. I love the Cheno and her book is very, very funny and so far it seems like she's not trying to hide anything or make herself look better than she is.

Dottie, I REALLY want to read Cheno's book. How long is it?

Only 240 pages. So it's not that long and it is an easy read. Very enjoyable and absolutely hilarious. And the book is pink! :D

That was my favorite book that I had for summer reading for my 9th grade honors english class. The ending was sad though, but overall it was highly enjoyable.  way way up!

Well, I finished Catch-22 and I have to say that I was really not that thrilled about it. It was confusing from beginning to (almost the) end and I really don't think it was that fantastic. I might be missing something, but I really can't find anything to like about it. Up next my class is going to read The Sound and the Fury and then after that The Things They Carried. I don't know much about either but I heard that most everyone ejoys the latter. As long as they are better than Catch, I'll be alright.

I recently finished reading all the books in the Shopaholic series, it took me two weeks to read all 5 books. I really like this series by Sophie Kinsella and I am excited to read the new book that is coming out this summer.

I took out a bunch of books from the library. I read some, am almost done with one, and have a whole bunch left. One really good book I read was "Realityland", about behind-the-scenes of WDW. And I've been reading "MouseTracks", about Disney Records, which is extremely interesting.
