Why do you think that? Here is Cinderella's pale blue nightgown right next to her silver ballgown:

Sometimes her gown can look blue, but that's usually only when she's in the dark, like when she's dancing with the Prince. To borrow from Disneykid's explanation, notice that Cinderella's hair and skin are much darker when her dress is blue than when her dress is silver:

Oh, wait, that picture on the left must confuse you, because her dress looks blue but her skin and hair are still light. Well, that's because Disney made it blue when they re-colored oops I mean restored the film for DVD. The original image is on the left, the restored image is on the right:

Actually, Disney Duster, I think Aladdin was confused about what a nightgown was as he made the same assumption for Ariel. Oh, and thanks for the side-by-side comparison at the bottom of your post. I'm one of the few people who aren't up in arms over Cinderella's DVD restoration, but that was always one of the few shots that really irked me in it (the others being how orangey yellow her hair is during "A Dream Is A Wish..." as seen in your first image, and the way her hair is that same color when she receives the ball invitation. All this is for another day, though, preferably drsd2kill's upcoming Cinderella restoration thread).

Just wondering. Is anyone going to post the Sneak Peak for Enchanted Tales that was included on the Cinderella III DVD. Sadly it is not on my copy and I really wanted to see it. Could someone post it for download. Plz.

Because I didn't know what a nightgown is, I'm sorry I had to check a dictionary before making a comment. I was confused because the word "gown" is often used for a dress that women wear when they go to a ball, or a gala or sthing like that and I thought that a nightgown is a gown a woman wears...at night! I'm sorry, I have to improve my English. Stupid me. The same goes for Ariel's pink nightgown.

Anyway, I still believe tht Ariel's "pearl blue dress" is purple. In both pictures it seems purple to me!

Oh, thank you for alerting me, I'm sorry. Hmmm...well, there are quite a few other things, even some clear misakes made by the restoration, and hopefully that drsd2kill thread will bring people to my side...the dark side.

Oh, well, I should be more sorry, because you didn't know. Yea, Ariel has a pink nightgown, like pajamas, and a pink evening gown, like a ballgown.

Hmmm...well, perhaps, but, to me it only looks purple in the shot where her dress is darker. Maybe our computers have different colors, you know? But it looks blue to me in the shot where she is with Eric. I guess it could be periwinkle, which is a color here in the U.S. that is a pale blue-purple color. It could be a pale mix of blue and purple, but it looks more bluish to me. Colors are up for debate, many people call something red when it is a mix of orange and red, or sometimes even something brown that a person thinks is dark red. Dictionary.com says that pearl blue is "a light bluish gray", but that doesn't mean Disneykid was wrong for saying pearl blue, it depends on what most people think a color is defined as. Dictionary.com said periwinkle was "a pale purplish blue." Wikipedia has a super detailed periwinkle page, but Wikitionary said periwinkle is "a color with bluish and purplish hues, somewhat light." I dunno.

Here I present three shots: In the first one, it looks light bluish purple to me, in the second one it looks dark purple to me, and in the third, last shot, it looks pale blue to me, perhaps with a very light tint of purpe, but mostly blue.

I know I keep asking, but is there any way at all that anyone could post the Enchanted Tales preview? It really would be so wonderful!

I'm getting more and more worried that the UK are not going to see this release, just like we didnt get Christmas of Enchantment. I know Enchanted Tales is a much, much bigger DVD premiere, but as we didnt get the sneak peak on the Cinderella DVD............

Again, if anyone could post, that would be wicked

Also, I was in the Disney Store today, and they have LOADS of Princess Aurora merchendice. Even more than the Peter Pan Special Edition. Is that due to Enchanted Tales? As I've never ever seen so much of her own her own.

Everything has to be rated by the BBFC before it can be released, U, PG, 12, 15 or 18

An add must have come through because it was included on the Cinderella III dvd and screencaps have been posted in this forum. Please can someone post it soon. I don't like acting impatient and selfish but I can't get a hold of a copy of the sneak peak, as it was not included on my countries copy of the dvd and I really want to see it.

It's not Kingdom of Hearts, just Kingdom Hearts, and what are you talking about? The KH Series has nothing to do with this. And if you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple enough.

This add actually got me really excited. But its not the one I'm still waiting to see. This one was posted before hand. Hopefully the Cinderella III Enchanted Tales add will come up soon on the post.

Thanks for that, Ariel'sprince. I don't find it weird, though. I always suspected that would be the title ever since it popped up in that article since they wouldn't make up something like that. Plus, it makes sense considering what the new trailer shows (Aurora's dream is apparently to take over the world, and Jasmine's dream is just like what she had in the first film, showing how much progress there's been in Agrabah).
