Maybe it's just me, but doesn't that sound a little pompous? Isn't that basically saying that the likes of Walt Disney, Burny Mattinson, Don Hahn and Clark Spencer and many other producers on Disney Animation didn't have any creative involvement on the film they produced? Because I think history would disagree with that assessment. Not to mention you have Ron Clements and John Musker, who also served as producers on their own films for a while. I'm just gonna say why I think he said that: it's because Frozen made the most money in comparison to the entire Disney canon, excepting Lion King. And "producers mark" is a PC way of saying, "Frozen made a lot of money because I produced it." A kind of self promotion to increase credibility.

Though to be honest, I don't want to call Del Vecho out. I don't know enough about the man to determine his demeanor, whether he's egotistical or humble.

Hmm I've just imdb searched him, and he has produced a lot for Disney in recent years; I thought he may have meant that it was the first Disney movie to have his name appear as producer … obviously it can't be that, so I'm not quite sure what he means !

Does seem an odd thing to say though, whatever way he meant it.

I personally don't want an animated series. The characters will most likely remain in CGI, though a much uglier and cheaper one than of the movie. I'm thinking all those awful shows with horrible CGI animation *shudders*

And I don't want Tangled nor a "Disney Cinematic Universe" ala Avengers. Sounds like shitty fanfiction already.

Frozen's getting a lot of attention no? First the movie and the soundtrack, then the Maelstorm ride (please NOOO), then the sequel, and the musical...Calm your tits Iger, I know you get a hard on when a franchise explodes.

Going back to the whole "Elsa may have originaaly been the villain" thing, if you could improve the conflict, how would you go about it.

Personally, I love the movie, but I'd be intrigued if Anna went back home unscarred, there was another 3 year jump, Anna was coronated, and ever the optimist went to retrieve Elsa again like Hans does(the wedding us on hold BTW), and then is struck.

Finally, she's right on something!

I actually really like Grace's idea of the second being a sister movie, with no romantic subplot; the two of them go on an adventure together, and Elsa gets her character expanded as much as she deserves.

I would love a sequel to both Tangled and Frozen - but if they make "Frozen 2" then Disney should keep Hans and Kristoff in the movie. It would have been fun to see their characters develop some more...

I went to my local theater and they told me that the only animated movie they're showing is Frozen. They don't have The Nut Job. And they said that Frozen is going anywhere soon cause it's doing really really well.

I can understand people wanting a Anna/ Elsa sister movie, but Kristoff and Hans have so much more to develop with. Kristoff, how did he meet Sven ? What his his parents like ? Was his Father one of the ice-harvesters ?

Hans, how bad did his older brothers mentally abuse him ? What's his punishment for his crimes ? Will they be soft and just exile him from the Kingdom, or behead him ?

Will he become good and realize that he was being a giant doucheface, or just snap even further ?

I would love to see them both heart-warming and touching stories. Kristoff to find out about his parents and that he was loved dearly, and for Hans' " frozen heart " to melt and be healed; by his brothers.

Frozen has a family- love message and support to it's story, so why just leave it at the girls ? They could develop it further, by showing that Kristoff was loved by his family, and Hans and his brothers could heal things as well.

Because the boys won't sell, the Princesses do . . .

Hans is a sociopath and a liar. His brothers probably treated him no differently than Goob's schoolmates did in Meet the Robinsons.

Disney isn't confident in making a movie about a Villain. ALA Maleficent.
Personally. I want them to make a movie based on him, cause it would be interesting seeing a movie about an evil prince charming.

All joking aside though, if Frozen 2 does happen, I hope Hans comes back and explain himself. Same with Turbo in Wreck-It Ralph 2 (He was encoded when he died, so technically he could have lived)

Hey guys! New member to these boards. Looking forward to being able to post here after months of lurking around and reading these discussions. Anway...

Frozen was simply fantastic. Probably the best Lasseter-era WDAS film thus far. It's an absolute charming romp with some good laughs, entertaining (if not particularly memorable) songs, and some decent action sequences. The animation is flawless, and the rendering on the snow is pretty much photo-realistic (nice to see snow look and behave like real snow).

The film does a marvelous job in creating a sound emotional foundation right from the beginning scenes. You care about the two sisters right away, and without going into any spoilers, I'll just say that the film further builds upon that emotional investment throughout the film and culminates in a very satisfying resolution.

Olaf, the snowman, is going to be huge. He has some of the funniest lines and sequences in the film, and his song about wanting to experience warm weather went over like gangbusters with my audience. He's marketing gold, and I betcha we end up seeing a lot of him at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in the years to come.

The short that preceded the movie Get A Horse! was pretty good too. A nice little mix of old and new school.
