Tbh, a sequel wouldn't bother me, actually. I'd love to see more of Elsa/Anna/Kristoff, and the idea of Elsa using her powers to face off against a supervillain (with, perhaps, a B plot of Anna/Kristoff resolving their relationship) would be interesting for me. I would love to know there is a sequel coming along with the musical. I don't want a TV series though, just because 3D needs more work than 2D, which is why 3D shows always look so godawful.
As long as Disney brings back the creators, I don't see a sequel as a bad thing. I love sequels when they're done right (Toy Story 2 and 3, KFP 2, for example), plus their newer films seem almost consciously to be avoiding that "Happily Ever After" feeling of their older fairy tales. There's still happiness, but not a "closed book" feeling so much.

I looove the outfit in this one! Much cooler than the Blue Fairy gown she ended up with. And i think both these designs were made once they changed the script to make her more sympathetic. You can tell b/c she has a cuter rounder face with big eyes. She looks like Periwinke...
as for a sequel...Frozen: Hans Revenge.
but seriously anything as long as its not just putting the sidekicks in the forefront. I hate when they do that!

Are you serious?? OUAT started out good... but man has it gone down in quality. I'm sure you've my rant on the other thread.
The adults in that series act like the children of their children. And the children act more mature.
I can't see a movie that is somewhat "Anti-Disney" to be portrayed good...
They butchered every character, with the exception of Peter Pan, can he's always been an arse to me.

If there were a sequel, it would be nice for it to have Elsa featured as the main character, or at least giver her way more screen time then she eventually got in Frozen.

"'Frozen's $12 million eighth weekend ranks fourth all-time
'Frozen' has now earned more than 'Monsters University' at the worldwide box office ($759M vs. $744M)"
And this doesn't include South Korea and Japan. And they are both BIG fans of animation.

Just seen on Disney's twitter page that there was an extra scene after the credits of Marshmallow ?! I had no idea, has anyone seen it?

Yeah, but my brother and I saw the scene.
It takes place in the Ice Castle and we see the crown on the floor. Marshmallow steps on it. He puts it on and he gets happy. His spikes disappear

Even with direct competition from The Nut Job, the Frozen phenomenon kept going strong this weekend. The movie fell 19 percent to an estimated $12 million, which is the fourth-highest eighth weekend ever. Through Sunday, Frozen has earned $332 million, and it remains on pace to eventually beat Despicable Me 2 ($368 million).
This is amazing! I never thought Frozen would have a chance at topping DM2 domestically! This would mean Frozen is the highest grossing domestic film of 2013, behind only to sequeals of The Hunger Games & Iron Man.

I find this odd, as The Wind Rises is Miyazaki's lowest grossing film in 2 decades. His previous 3 films worldwide grosses:
Spirited Away- $274.9mil/$10mil domestic
Howl's Moving Castle-$235.2mil/$4.7mil domestic
Ponyo-$201.8mil/$15mil domestic
Princess Mononoke from the late '90s-$159.4mil
The Wind Rises worldwide gross is $112.7million. That means it will have to gross over $47mil domestic just to match Princess Mononoke! Clearly The Wind Rises did not do the kind of business that his previous 3 films did. I think all of the praise it is getting is only because of his latest retirement announcement.
Also, you notice how Pixar & Miyazaki have never competed in the Best Animated Film category? I wonder if Finding Nemo would have won if Spirited Away would have been nominated in 2003 instead of 2002.
