I was thinking her voice sounds too "like a boy" for the character...

Balto you are my hero of the moment. <3
edit: Miley's normal speech hits me as one of those that get monotonous/drowned out/droning in long quick sentence. I hope her voice work doesn't reflect this.

When the BOLT teaser trailer is released to theatres in the US, will it also be available on Apple Trailers?
I guess it would be rather silly to take a plane to America to watch it, wouldn't it?

How about YouTube?.
There's going to be a Bolt video game (I knew it!):
http://ds.ign.com/objects/142/14256525.html
And the Disney UK shopping site has a Bolt page:

Here's a new "Bolt" poster. It's still definitely a teaser poster, unfortunately:

I understand that Miley is huge right now, and some kids will want to see the movie more because she's in it, but how big of a part does her character play, I wonder?
I'm torn. I like how Disney doesn't always go for using (and advertising) the big-name talent (like DreamWorks does). Miley is a Disney girl, though, so it's not as bad as just using a big name just to use a big name. I don't even like how John & Miley's names are on the poster, though. Go see "Bolt" because it's a Disney animated film, not because 2 celebrities voice characters in it!
I mean, most DAC posters do not list actor's names at all. Maybe the non-teaser poster will not list John & Miley's names, I don't know. But I think that it's bothering me.
Will the teaser attached to "WALL-E" just be a teaser trailer? Probably, since it will be the first trailer for it, huh? Do you think that it will show more than the clips shown in the Disney Channel Movie Surfers clip?

Amy (Is it okay if I call you Amy?) Miley is obviously there to promote herself,Hannah Montana and Disney Channel,I"m don't she whould have been there if she wasn't on Disney Channel.
I whouldn't be surprised if Raven and High School Musical stars will be there as well,I can see the DVD:
One disc edition with a few features:
-Tour of Miley's house.
-All new clip of Miley,Jonas Brothers,Raven and High School Musical stars.
-Miley and Raven go buy a Bolt plush.
-Sneak Peek at the whole new season of Hannah Montana.
-Behind the Scenes clip for 5 seconds.

....I would be.
But you're right; that
is the only reason she's there. I hate it when promissing artists like Pixar staff sell out like that

Well you know you must admit the poster would be mighty bland without John's and Miley's name. Maybe that's the reason.

Well, maybe Raven is less popular but still (Thought she does voice one of the Disney Fairies).
It is sad.

Yup, it's okay if you call me Amy, Ariel'sprince!
yukitora, that makes sense, in a way, but the original teaser poster didn't have names on it.
I know about marketing, but do Disney animated films really need that extra marketing push of advertising the voice actors above the actual movie? (If that makes any sense...)

That new poster was hanging in my theater's lobby last night when I was there. Along with a bunch of HSM 3 Cardboard cut-outs and a giant cardboard Wall-E. I don't like it as much as the dog-tag one. I know it's just supposed to be a teaser poster, but this one really offers no information about what the movie is about. The dog-tag at least gave a bit of a clue.

Apparently not. There are no posters up yet, just life-size cardboard cut-outs of the stars standing right next to the exit door. I'm going to the theater today, perhaps I'll take a picture of them on my phone and post it here.

The
Bolt website is up!

(Also, and this is just my opinon, shouldn't the "Bolt Trailer Online" thread be merged into this general
Bolt thread?)

It's not much, but it has a couple lines from the movie that I don't remember hearing. It's a short video of Miley doing promotion for the movie and for the ASPCA.

Warner moved Harry Potter #6 to next year! Disney took advantage of their decision by moving the release date of BOLT up to November 21!
YES!!!! Less competition and no vs. Harry Potter! What a great break for Disney, for once.
