Couldn't you return it and buy it again?

*Note to self...on Friday, stop by at the mall and hope that my Sears has a widescreen set for $35...

*Note to self...figure out where I can get $35 quickly...

*Note to self...maybe I should use that lottery money that I swore I'd never use on anything...

*Note to self...STOP IT!

What about this:

Exchange it with the receipt, saying it was defective. I'm pretty sure they only allow you to return an item if you exchange it for the same item. Then go back later in the day and return it and get a refund, saying you don't want it anymore, or that someone bought it for you. Then, go to Sears, and hope to God no one bought the rest of the $35 DVDs.

Hey Aaron, buy a copy at Sears for $35 then take that unopened copy with your Best Buy $42 receipt back to Best Buy for a refund. It's the same box whether you buy it at Sears or Best Buy. That's $7 in your pocket. If you're like me, half the fun in buying a DVD is getting it for the absolutely lowest price!

Just got Voltron: Defender of the Universe - Collection 1.

May the 80s live again!

(Same company is bringing out complete Battle of the Planets sets and complete 80s Astro).

While I'm not as much in awe of it as I was when I was 5/6 years old, it is actually better than I thought it was going to be. So there is one childhood memory that remains in tact!

I got the extended Director's Cut[*] of Donnie Darko today. And wahoo! not only is it even less pretentious but it has a slipcover. It doesn't open like a book, but it is a proper box with the side missing (like the Spy Kids slip covers) and it has a 3D cover!

[*] Yes, I don't normally approve of Director's Cuts, but the original is still available and I have a copy.

I just want to see more of this non-pretentious film.

I got The Day After Tomorrow: 2-Disc Special Edition (R3) on last Thursday (September 30). I'm puzzled that the 2-disc edition isn't available in R1. :? I also picked up Ben-Hur.

By the way, I can't believe that I share the same name with DisneyGuru. :!:
