Personally?
Animation- The Little Mermaid, it's one of those movies that dosen't have to have perfect animation, or a perfect storyline to be enjoyed.
Live-Action- Well, it's a toss up between Mary Poppins and Enchanted. Mary Poppins was a childhood favorite for me. I loved it!
Enchanted was great for Disney fans, and it had a great storyline. Not as fluffy as I expected it would be.

Although I do recognize that it may not be the most entertaining or touching, Sleeping Beauty has the most special spot in my heart. I just love it; I have the most tender feelings for Aurora...

I think The Little Mermaid can really relate to a lot of people, since I doubt a lot of us are princesses who were locked away by our stepmothers or cursed by a bad fairy. Although Ariel was a princess, she was a daughter who wanted something that was unthinkable, and wanting it broke her father's heart (sorta). Those issues with her family are very realistic, compared to having a town come at you to kill your boyfriend, or wanting to marry someone who you're not allowed to. For that, The Little Mermaid is, and always will be my favorite animated film.
For live-action, I'd definitely say Enchanted, since it was a brilliant tribute to everything that Disney ever was for me. When I was younger, Mary Poppins was my favorite, simply because I liked the songs, and (at the time) I always thought that the magic was really real. I mean, who hasn't tried to fly with an umbrella?! lol The Parent Trap is also another live-action Disney film I also enjoy. I remember watching it yesterday, and loving it even more than I had before.
