They're missing a lot of the new releases which I find odd because they made a big deal out of Endgame being available on Disney Plus. I hope Tarzan isn't being held back because of the rights issue.

Oh you're right, I didn't even realize that Tarzan and Jane was the one installment included. Weird.

Perhaps Endgame being marked as missing is because it's not going to be on D+ day one--it won't be on until December 11th.

Infinity War was added to Netflix around Christmas and Disney is apparently planning a similar gap between theatrical release and streaming for their new films. So Endgame will be on Disney+ in December.

I've read Tarzan is on the US Netflix, hence why it won't be on Disney+ just yet.

Does that mean that if in the (hopefully unlikely) event that Disney Plus fails, that Disney will not have a future? And neither will Hollywood?

Sounds like Disney+ is Iger's Snow White (as everybody knows, Walt gambled everything on that project).

Possibly already mentioned, but if they want their new streaming service to succeed, they need to make it easy to navigate and to use certain keywords when searching for content. Instead of all movies from both Disney and Fox fused together, make it possible to get list of only Disney or Fox movies and series.
Instead of releasing a classic short here and another there, make all the classic shorts available. If you want to see Donald, give us a list of every single theatrical Donald short that's made. The same with Goofy and Mickey. The shorts that doesn't belong to any of these characters or categories, like Silly Symphonies, are so few that they could easily be made available on their own list.
Listing both shorts and features by year should also be an option. If you want to know what movies that was released in the 50s or the 60s, then make it easy to find out. If you want to know what documentaries that have been made, make sure they are easy to separate from live action. And so on. Easy user-friendliness should be one of the major priorities for Disney when they release their service. An example of what not to do, can be seen if you visit Marvel Comics' website. Impossible to navigate.

It should also be possible to visit and browse the service even if you are not a member. You can do this with HBO, but not Netflix. My cable company offer HBO in their package, but searching for spesific HBO content is difficult when they have dropped all the content for all their channels on the same internet TV-service. So to find HBO shows and movies I need to visit their page, where I'm not a subscriber, and see if there is anything interesting. Then I look for that spesific movie or show on my cable company's page. Without the possibility to visit and browse HBO, that would have been much more difficult.
Should Disney+ ever become a part of the content of a cable service somewhere in the world, they would provide a good service if you can take a look at their content even if you're not a direct subscriber.

I looked up the list of devices compatible with Disney Plus, but it looks like Samsung and Vizio Smart TVs, the kinds of TVs my family have, are, for some reason, not compatible with Disney Plus. I brought this up with my mother, who was almost as eager to get Disney Plus as I am, and she just shrugged it off, saying that they're going to lose a lot of customers who want to have Disney Plus on Samsung or Vizio, but can't.

^do you have a link to the list? and yeah they better make their service available on as many devices as possible b/c I cant see folks buying whole new sets just to get it when they're many other streaming options already available right on their sets.
