Hm, with the border it actually looks really great to me...how odd a little thing like that can do that!
The Beast doesn't look strange at all to me. And Belle doesn't look more like Emma Watson at all...
I see enough lines for it to still look like it's for an animated movie.
I guess my gripe is the ray of light doesn't fit in with the original film and that Belle is re-used from the clipart...but at least they did re-draw it so her face is more like it is in the film and the art is somewhat new.
Thanks Sotiris for the clip-art so I knew I was right! Lol

Yet again offering less than what came before. With every release they deminish their product. I have to admit though that the cover art has me intrigued. ..

That particular Princess clipart of Belle is one of my favorites, she looks like herself. To me, the Beast looks kinda the same as on the 2010 DVD cover. I love how they mentioned that this is the 25th anniversary of the movie. I think a 3D edition will follow, but has not yet been listed. I think the cover will look great as a slipcover, all embossed and shinny.
The Snow White cover kinda disapointed me at first, but when I saw the actual slipcover, I loved it.

You know, the ray of light does fit Beauty and the Beast a little bit. It's kind of like the rays of light that come from the Beast as he transforms back into a Prince.
Like Sicoe Vlad, the Beast on the cover reminds me of the way he was on the Diamond Edition DVD. You know, that's my favorite Beauty and the Beast home video cover, if only Gaston and Belle were drawn better and Belle was closer to the same size as the Beast.

I would have preferred something that matched the Snow White cover.

The
trailer for the Signature edition is out. It will be released on September 6th on Digital HD and on September 20th on Blu-ray.
The trailer is underwhelming and unimaginative and the new logo is the worst thing about it. The font is simply horrendous.

Oh, I thought the trailer was fantastic! I mean, not as amazing as the Snow White one, but at least pretty good!
I am ok with the font. I wish they made it better, fancier, and fitting the film more, but I'm ok with it.

September 20th? Wow, I think that's interesting. Usually these released have happened in the first Tuesday in October. Don't think it's ever happened in October.

Nice trailer, I thought it was very nicely made. The logo is nice, and I'm really satisfied with the cover art. Now, I'll just have to wait to see a full list of bonus features. I'm kinda curios as to what the sneak peek to the 2017 movie will be. Will it be a brief behind-the-scenes presentation, or an actual clip from the movie itself?

How underwhelming. I was hoping at least the 3D Blu-Ray would be re-released seeing as I missed it the first time around.

I don't think that they're going to release a new restoration or the 3D master. They will use the Diamond restoration for the Signature Edition.
Also I'm sure the 3D master is a work from the original CAPS color palette 'cause they didn't planned to release it on 3D when they created the Diamond master, so they just convert it to 3D format quickly for the re-release. Also TLK and TLM 3D releases have the same color palette with the 2D Diamond restorations. This is another evidence that they didn't changed the colors for the 3D release of BATB to make better the 3D experience. They are just the original colors and to tell the truth they are a bit problematic to my eyes. I prefer the Diamond restoration even if it's not perfect. (and hello! I'm not new here but I had a long time to login)

One thing's for sure, Disney needs to fix 2 errors to the Theatrical Version:
