I'm surprised that Disney.com hasn't uploaded the next episode, "Stayin' Cool", yet, especially since Disney.com has usually uploaded the episodes to their site a week before they aired on TV.

They probably want people to tune in on their TV sets next time.

It also seems the new time for these shorts are 9:25pm/8:25 central.

Okay, I've seen only three of the shorts so far and I have to admit that I HATE Mickey's voice! Sure, Bret Iwan is no Wayne Allwine, but at least Bret was pretty damn close! What the hell happened?! Did they deliberately fire Bret too?!

By the way, I haven't seen all of Yodelberg, but am I the only living person who is reminded by Minnie's dress in said short of Truly Scrumptious's dress in the Doll on a Music Box scene from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

It still doesn't make a lot of sense as to why Bret isn't voicing Mickey. Seriously, why isn't Bret voicing Mickey in these shorts?

Maybe they wanted this Micky to sound more like Walt and Bret couldn't deliver that.

Another theory, maybe at the time the dialogue was recorded they hadn't yet finalized who Wayne's replacement would be.

But I think the first theory is more likely.

Well, if your first theory is the case, why didn't they just use Chris right from the start (i.e., in the Epic Mickey games) instead of Bret?

Hey guys! I was playing this game called Hidden Mickey which is based on the episode called No Service, it's game that you have to help Mickey to find something to cover while he's naked. I just spotted something from level 2, it's a stuff animal of, wait for it..........................................................

The Mickey Mouse episode "Croissant de Triomphe" got an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program.

It would certainly be a deserving win, though I'll also be rooting for Adventure Time.

I was going to mention that. He also worked on The Buzz On Maggie is I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, best short by far!

That was a pretty entertaining short. But seriously, if they can get Toy Anselmo to voice Donald, Bill Farmer to voice Goofy, Russi Taylor to voice Minnie and Tress MacNeille to voice Daisy, then why can't they have Bret Iwan voice Mickey?

I'm sure Bret Iwan is still Mickey. He's just maybe busy doing other projects like upcoming episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, projects from Disney Parks, and et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Iwan was not let go in any way, shape or form whatsoever. He is still Mickey's official voice actor.

Perhaps one of us should try to ask either Iwan or Chris Diamantopolous to find out the reason for this re-cast. (I still think it's because they wanted Mickey's voice to sound more like Walt's take on the character and that Iwan's vocal range probably wouldn't allow it).

I too adore Iwan's Mickey (he's the best voice actor Mickey has ever had, next to Wayne Allwine), but I like Diamantopolous's Mickey too.

Anyway, another great episode. Also, if you listen closely to the music in this short, you can hear the Steamboat Willie song several times.
