Beauty and the Beast - Work In Progress Version

I thought this was really cool. Not only did you get an inside look at the feature animation process, but you gain perspective on what it must've been like to see this for the first time at that film festival. Seeing the ballroom scene in its "in progress" state was particularly interesting.

*Of course not all in the same day over the span of a week or so.

In the midst of watching and reviewing Swiss Family Robinson. This review was started two years ago, so I'm kind of looking forward to finishing it.

In the midst of watching and reviewing Swiss Family Robinson. This review was started two years ago, so I'm kind of looking forward to finishing it.

I hope you finish it soon, Luke! That's my favorite live-action Disney movie! It's really good and a great story. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Also, don't forget to watch the bonuses and see the WWoD episode and the opening of the Treehouse! They're great!

Wow! That's great that you got all those for your birthday! They're all great movies. I actually just watched Return to Neverland too. The more viewings I watch, the more I like it. The only weak parts were the music. Not because it was bad (the songs were great and so was the singer) but the modern music didn't really fit with the 1940's-WWII era. If this took place in modern times then I wouldn't mind it at all. Did you watch the credits? I like how they make a tribute to Mary Blair, using her style for the mural of Neverland.

I've just watched Return from Witch Mountain. Yes it is campy, yes it is dated, but it is one of the funs of watching it. An enjoyable little film. Planning to get the DVD in the future.

I recently saw The Happiest Millionaire. It's now added to my list of favorite Disney musicals! I love the songs and the dancing, though it is very very long. I wonder what they cut out from it.

Right now I'm in the middle of One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band. It is a very good muscial with great music and characters and a great story. So far, I like TOaOGOFB a little more than THM, but I bet I would like it best if it were restored and in widescreen!

The Rescuers- even though I own it, it had been years since I'd seen it (unlike The Rescuers Down Under). It was nice to revisit it.

Wow, MMP is starting to enjoy those live action flicks he once thought very silly! How did you like these ones?

Now I have start requesting them at my local libraries so I'm happy to watch them but my older brother says they are old hippy movies and I tell him so what's the big deal so is James Bond movies and you watch them and he hasn't said a word to me.

I believe there may be just two hippies in live action Disney films: Dean Jones' brief secondary role in The Love Bug and Michael Douglas in Napoleon and Samantha. Generally, you don't see too many hippies in the '80s and '90s movies you rented.

But I'm glad you told him off!

Yeah, that Cheetah is a great movie, isn't it? Keith Coogan rocks!

It's a personal favorite and one I wish more people would see.

Yeah the end credits are pretty cool. It took me a while to actually enjoy Retrun to Never Land it took me a few viewings before it actually started to grow on me.

Now Movies I have recentley seen:

Finding Nemo( for some reason that movie never gets old to me Dory is the best she cracks me up)
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (Not really sure what it is about this movie that makes it so enjoyable for me but w/e it is I am sure it works)
Emperor's New Groove (watched it with my friend who was deprived from seeing it)
