I still haven't watched this yet. I was stoked to see it the weekend it came out, but we had a hurricane and no power so that didn't happen. And then the middle-ground reviews made me not as stoked. I should get to seeing it before Halloween if I have time...

I'm glad that didn't happen. For one, I don't believe in purgatory, but anyway... The first film seemed pretty clear that they were in Hell when they were dead ("I've been there, thank you, I found it quite lovely!"). And they called Satan "Master" in the first film, so....

Well I'm Catholic so I do believe in Purgatory, but Divinity makes a good point. But I would have liked seeing the witches singing the song in Hell.

Hocus Pocus 2 is doing quite well at the guild awards. It has been nominated by three of these groups so far: the producers, the costume designers and the make-up artists & hair stylists.

It's sort of bizarre to me that they didn't want those actors to at least appear as cameos, especially when they seemed pretty eager to be involved. Weird (and a shame).
