Well, unless I'm wrong, video game tie-ins of movies are downright mediocre 99.99% of the time.PatrickvD wrote:The video game tie-in opportunities for this are awesome. Who wants to bet Disney screws that up?
the screens are designed to prevent eyestrain moreso than tvs and pcs.Disney Duster wrote:What about on the big screen?SWillie! wrote:Umm... the same thing that playing an arcade game does to their eyes? As in, nothing?
I think Disney this year might have a movie that could grab the nomination for Best Animated movie.I just have high hopes for this movie because of the fact it seems that Disney is getting its mojo back .Sotiris wrote:First Image of Ralph

I've enlarged it a bit to get a closer look:
Here are some larger versions of the "new" logo (although I think this a previous version of it and it won't replace the existing logo)
I also have some Shrek vibes coming from Ralph as well.Although in my mind he would be a nicer version of Shrek.Sotiris wrote:Although I'm not fond of the character designs, I find them appropriate for the world the characters inhabit and for this type of story/concept.
I have high expectations for this film. It needs to be for video games what Toy Story was for toys.
That's funny, he doesn't look like a bad guy. And yeah, I wonder if Fix It Felix is the next Disney Villain.Sotiris wrote:First Image of Ralph

Now that you've mentioned it, he does resemble him.DisneyAnimation88 wrote:It's probably no coincidence that he resembles John C. Reilly a little bit.
Fix-It Felix could turn out to be the villain.jazzflower92 wrote:Now I wonder what the villian will look like.
That's what I'm thinking. I loved what they did with Mother Gothel in Tangled, where the villain that was passive aggressive and ultimately psycho. I'd love to see what they do with the concept of someone who is super nice until they don't get what they want. I've known a number of people like that.Sotiris wrote: Fix-It Felix could turn out to be the villain.
