how are you guys not sick of seeing the same character designs and the same stupid expressions, honestly have you ever seen normal people looking at you like that? The Flyn guy has a bs tough guy tude look in all the promotional pictures. Before i say any more imagine prince charming from cinderella with the tude look.... Walts rolling in his grave
Plus the girl looks just like Ariel, i've seen this movie before Walt Disney Pictures and im predicting a flop

I do not know if Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," is going to be a flop, but I will say this, it will probably do good, but not too good when it comes to stories. To tell you the truth, after I have finally read, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," and when it gets adapted into a movie despite being in two parts, it will probably do better. Anyways, Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," could be worth something more, despite the name change and adding more roles for Flynn Rider. It could be more promising than ever.

Gorgeous new artwork! I LOVE seeing color keys because they usually are so much like the final artwork in terms of color, layout and lighting. They really give a VERY good idea of what to expect in the final movie. I seriously am beyond excited!!!

well that is gonna bring the boys to the movies!
Seriously, does it get any more girlie than that? Nice visual though. It would have been nice if the hair would spell either "Tangled" or "Rapunzel"... don't know what Japan is calling it.
Thanks for sharing it.

It is spelled "Tounoue" in japanese, and again, the "boyish" marketing is only for american people...

This film is producing some of the most beautiful concept art I have ever seen ! The build up of this fiml is getting too intense for me ! But kind of pissed off I have to wait almost 6 months to see it ....
And that picture is STUNNING ! Yeah, true, its not really one for the boys, but still ! And the trailer on the Japan site is wonderful; much more classic Disney. Think its my favourite one so far.

That is an amazing new visual. It's SCREAMS Disney fairytale and I LOVE it! I hope the new trailer will reflect this atmosphere and mood! Although I do not have hopes of seeing a new trailer today. The only source for this news was wikipedia and we all know how reliable that is...

No problem for the kidding!
The japanese title
Tou no ue no rapunzeru might means Rapunzel from the top of the tower...at least something close to that translation I got thanks to my dear friend Kirsty when the japanese site opened days ago...
Oh, and there won't be any new trailer today, believe me.

Here's a link to a new review of the movie, after a test-screening last night, contains some small spoilers:
http://iheartthetalkies.wordpress.com/2 ... ew-tangled
some additional comments made by the reviewer on imdb, highlight to read, does contain spoilers about the movie's opening:
No it doesn't [open with a storybook], but as it wasn't complete it might be something they add in...
The film opens with the title flashed up on screen then a narrated sequence about the origins of Rapunzel's birth. Reminded me a bit of the opening of Beauty and the Beast.

I hope they use the story book cause the book is realy beautyful and I don't want them to waste such a beautyful book for a cheap narrative, if they diccided to not use it, the narrative should better please me

The first Tangled trailer was released on Yahoo! around noon. I think if we reach 7 pm (EST) and it's not online, we can assume that the Wikipedia edit was just fanboy speculation.
I wouldn't be surprised if we got the trailer sometime in the coming weeks, what with Tales of Earthsea being released next week.
