Ew, the "the" looks terribly out of place.

Speaking of the 3D version, is it everyone's guess that the coupon we'll get for this release will ONLY be for the 3D version, as with Tangled?CampbellzSoup wrote:The 3D blu ray should have an orange cover.
As has been said before, no. In fact, Best Buy's ad clearly stated that the coupon will be honored for both blu-rays.MJW wrote:Speaking of the 3D version, is it everyone's guess that the coupon we'll get for this release will ONLY be for the 3D version, as with Tangled?CampbellzSoup wrote:The 3D blu ray should have an orange cover.
Sorry, did you mean that the Best Buy ad says the coupon can be used on both versions of Tangled? If so, where does it say that? I have the ad with me and do not see it.ajmrowland wrote:In fact, Best Buy's ad clearly stated that the coupon will be honored for both blu-rays.

If it's two discs, then from what I read, the 3D version will include one 3D blu ray disc and one 2D blu ray disc. So does that mean it will miss the second disc of bonus features?
Just discovered blu-ray.com already lists this as 1 blu ray and 1 dvdPheR wrote:I am also worried that this is going to be a 1 disc only edition. The platinum edition has great bonus features but it was still lacking (not to mention the disastrous navigation system), so I am kind of expecting a really packed edition this time around, at least something like the BATB diamond edition no less.
They are usually pretty accurate over there. I think it is going to end up being 1 BD/1 DVD, otherwise the 3D combo would be 5 discs (1 3D, 2 BD, 1 DVD, 1 DC), which is unlikely.stevemcqueen wrote:Just discovered blu-ray.com already lists this as 1 blu ray and 1 dvd

is this reliable?
Thanks MJW! that should be fine. I mean it is dissapointing that it won't have a second disc of extras, but i'm just glad that the 3D version won't be missing any content.MJW wrote:They are usually pretty accurate over there. Did not see that in the ad either. In fact my local ad had the price as $29.99 before coupon for the 3D release. It was $24.99 in store, so $19.99 after coupon. They also had the wrong price for Black Swan. It was $22.99 in the ad, but $19.99 in store. So something was up with the weekly ad... at least in my area.MJW wrote:Sorry, did you mean that the Best Buy ad says the coupon can be used on both versions of Tangled? Was it said anywhere it was going to have a digital copy? No DE has had one yet, and I'd imagine if any would, "Bambi" would have gotten one simply because it came out more recently. Either way, "TRON: Legacy" has that five disc combo thingy with the original "TRON" and the 3-D version and the Blu-ray and the digital copy and the DVD and the collectable display plate or whatever, so while it's unlikely, it doesn't seem impossible at this point with a company as bizarrely whim-based as Disney.MJW wrote:They are usually pretty accurate over there. Well... there kinda is. Even if I had a 3-D Blu-ray player et all, I'd still have just a DVD player in my room and in other bedrooms. I still like having the DVD for those occasions. Not to mention for loaning to my sister or friends who don't have a Blu-ray player.rs_milo_whatever wrote:Also, If you have a 3D TV, a Blu-Ray player, and one that plays 3D movies, there is absolutely NO need for the DVD. #sleaze
